  1. .5 miles to the gallon is the only performance number I’d need!
  2. My upgrading is probably going to slow down. I’m content with what I have just wanted to upgrade rods and a few reels. Oh well.
  3. I know you’re a tech guru like myself, but I’m still holding out hope someone has a way. ?
  4. Thanks Paul
  5. In about a month I’m going to be reaching out to the Bassresource grass experts. When the new how is complete I’ll be starting off with a clean slate as far as the lawn goes and will need the ins and outs.
  6. That was pretty wild! One of our father son walleye trips on Bay de noc as a kid one of the other boats we were with had a seagull grab a lure while they were trolling. It was interesting watching someone reeling in a seagull, kind of like watching someone fly a kite.
  7. Never hunted them with a bow, but growing up my friends and I would grab our guns when we had a snow day at school, meet at the town dump and go right to the brush piles. We’d take turns being the dog and jumping on the brush piles. Those were the good old days.
  8. My wife would be great at it, she’s great with a broom!
  9. My smart tv is smarter than me, is there a way to watch “Live” on my tv when it’s not on FS1?
  10. I have done that before and had some regrets afterwards. The wife and I took Charlie in today. We were both a train wreck. Once The sedative kicked in she lost it and went to the car. The vet was very nice and were very considerate when planning out their building. When you bring your pet in for This scenario you go in the employee (rear of the building) entrance and right into the “comfort room” they call it. You don’t have to see anyone except the vet tech and the doctor. It was probably as nice of an experience as you could expect.
  11. No puppies and no more dogs for a long while. We still have two and this is the first time in 15 years we’ve had less than three dogs. They are fun, give you unconditional love, but they can be a lot of work when you have multiples. They are worth it though. My condolences to you as well.
  12. I mentioned in the other thread we were going to go through this sooner than later but man I did not expect only a couple days later. Charlie had been declining but last night we got our sign when we got home and his was having a hard time using his back legs. We took him in this morning to free him of his pain. Charlie was a unique dog that’s for sure! He managed to photobomb plenty of pictures over the years, he was very needy, kept us on our toes, and always made sure he was the center of attention. Even though he was needy and needed a human next to him he never gave kisses or looked you in the eye which we always laughed about. He’s our fourth one in five years we’ve had to say goodbye to and it doesn’t get any easier. He’s also the last of our original three the Mrs. and I had and gave us 15 interesting years. This was him five years and two houses ago. He always sat in the window like a cat.
  13. Sorry for your loss. We’ve been there a few times having lost two in less than ten days and a third a little over a year from the other two. We have another one we’ve started having the discussion so it’s coming sooner than later again.
  14. Great thread Tom! Your stories, knowledge, and insight are absolutely priceless! There are so many members here with a lifetime of great knowledge they don’t have to share but volunteer to pass it on to folks like myself, this is what makes this site so great! Thank you Tom and everyone else who share their stories and years of hard work with all of us!
  15. Now I see where you got your screen name from! My wife will eat them from time to time then try to kiss me. ?
  16. This has been a bad winter for me as well. 1: My company sold to our competitor who I worked for 7 years ago and my team is slowly leaving one by one 2: We’re renting after selling our house and our new house won’t be done until April 3: Since we’re renting all of my fishing stuff is in boxes so I can’t really go through it Spring can’t get here soon enough!
  17. Better to have more than enough strength than not enough and have troubles down the road.
  18. Dinner is served.
  19. Congrats! I’d say get used to no sleep but you’re a doctor so you’re already used to that!
  20. I’ve had great luck with the Abu Blackmax and Promax. I have a few Kastking reels that have been pretty solid as well.
  21. I wonder what the @TnRiver46 Memoji would look like? That’s your homework assignment this weekend @TnRiver46 is to make yourself a Memoji. ?
  22. It’s called a Memoji, you can make them to look similar to yourself.
