Just got home and Santa showed up! A handful of beautiful swim jigs and bladed jigs from @Siebert Outdoors! Good work Mike. I love the Fogy!

What ruins a fishing trip for you more than anything?
To echo @jbsoonerfan I absolutely hate the wind. When your 10 year old bounces from the front deck to the back and you tell him to stop and he trips on the bench seat and you hear “oh no” only to look back and see your (not his) pitching set up fading into the abyss.

Organizing terminal tackls
You’re absolutely right they could hold a lot more, but for me anyway what I have is more than enough to last me several years. I just don’t lose that much and having more is just added weight and money wasted where I could spend it on something else.

I need to have my head examined!
Because it’s mid winter in Michigan that’s why. I’ve yet to try a Jackhammer. I’m too cheap and too scared to buy one. I never had much luck with the original Chatterbaits. Last year I bought a @Siebert Outdoors Fogy and haven’t looked back. I have some more that should show up tomorrow. ?

More bad news
Ahhh I know this all too well! I separated my right shoulder (grade 3 tear) after I got checked from behind and my right shoulder smashed the boards. I was in a contraption that wrapped around my stomach and Velcroed my arm to the wrap around my stomach. I was in that for 6 weeks I believe and missed baseball tryouts my junior year. Make sure he does his PT! I’m paying for it from time to time now 20 years later. I was ten foot tall and bulletproof back then and didn’t do it. Oops.

Winter 2020-2021
We got about 6 inches of snow in about as many hours. Thankfully it was lite and fluffy so it was pretty easy cleaning up. The snow plows were on top of it too. Only about an inch had fallen by the time I dropped 6poundbass off at school and 7.5 hours later they were slick but nothing horrible. So there ya go southern boys, 6 inches of snow and schools weren’t even canceled (some around were but majority stayed open).

Post a photo a day!
Making the switch to Garmin now? I have to give it to Humminbird though, their MEGA DI is pretty good too.

A-Jay's 3rd Annual Ice Out / Open Water Countdown Thread ~
Thankfully the worst is supposed to stay Grand Rapids and to the south. We’re only looking at 1-3” here. SW Michigan last I looked is looking at upwards of a foot of snow.

Organizing terminal tackls
I just picked this up from Academy Sports during their Black Friday sale. I think this is going to help keep things more organized. It seems pretty stout too.

boats, passengers, and common sense
I’ve watched a few of these. Thats some crazy rough waters and some incredibly dumb people at times.

That’s the difference between 33* and 15*! Doesn’t seem like much in the grand scheme thing of things but that little bit of temps makes a huge difference!

Do ‘they’ allow you to jot down their ideas so you can use them, or are these selfish voices that don’t like to share?

Winter 2020-2021
33.4” below normal for snowfall this year (since Nov 1) We’ve had 29% available sunlight (up 3% from average) Average temp is 4.3* warmer than average All in all not a terrible winter so far, hopefully this means an early ice out.

Great minds think a like @TnRiver46. I figured I’d give them a shot as well and just received my order. They look good and prices are good too. I can’t wait to try the finesse worms out on my @Siebert Outdoors shaky heads.
