A drill and this works for me. I do like your contraption though. If I stripped as much line as you, your’s would be more handy.

I find myself not as into it as much either since I already know who won. But we aren’t the target audience either.

I think this idea could work and have a little ‘drama’. To add another twist what if they limited the amount of times they got a Scoretracker update? You can only do say three scoretracker updates, that adds a little drama because you may not know what size everyone else is catching, so are they on a 3 lbs average so you don’t weigh the smaller ones? Are you throwing away weight because you aren’t weighing 1.5 pound fish? That’s a gamble you have to take because you can only weigh 25 fish and you can only do 3 score tracker updates so you only get a small glimpse into what everyone else has.

Nicely done! In front of our house there’s ice but the main part of the lake is wide open. The other lakes around are open too. The weather is miserable though.

Start loading up on ice fishing gear. If you’ve created a monster like you think you’ll be ice fishing in a couple years whether you want to or not. Ask me how I know.

Just had Christmas with my dad and stepmom a week late because I had the flu. I think I made out pretty well. Down sizing blurred things a bit. The rod is a Speed Demon flippin’ stick and the reel is a Spartacus.

Congrats to him, he’s going to love lake living. I’m sure his dad will too!

No complaints here either. I will say this, we moved into our new house Jan 18 last year. Up to that point our winter was reminiscent of the one we’re having now. That night we moved we got about 6” of snow. For the next three weeks my son had school only 5 days out of a possible 15, because of snow and the “polar vortex”. We’ll see how this year goes.

Only flurries for us And strong winds. The extended forecast shows its still going to be above normal temps.

I plan I doing that this year on my private lake. I’ve got the “hook up” for pipe. We’ll see how it goes.

There’s nothing better than throwing a hollow bodied frog to the thickest, nastiest slop on the lake. I have grown quite fond of pitching jigs this past year too. I look forward to doing more of that this year too.

I’m not a ‘bro’ (That’s bro beer) and somebody must have hacked my account and told you that. Oh wait I have no clue where lake Menderchuck is. I’m pretty sure it’s close to Sneaky Lake though. Awe, you’re making me blush!

I’ll let you be the guinea pig. My sinuses are so inflamed they’re about to explode so I can’t taste, but I still wouldn’t try any of those especially the Chocolate covered maple smoked bacon soda. ?

I might have a pop once a month, otherwise it’s iced tea for dinner and aqua the rest of the day. Back in my younger days it was 2 liters of Mt. Dew a day. Surprisingly I have all my teeth and only two fillings, so I faired pretty well with the Mt. Dew battle. Dirt Soda must be really popular everywhere I go, because I can’t seem to find it, so surely it must be sold out!

Of all the combined times I’ve tried coffee throughout my life it hasn’t equaled a quarter of a cup.

I’ll take it! The ice is gone on our lake around here. I’ve thought about getting the boat out, I won’t, but I think about it.

I forced myself to not throw a Senko last year and I stuck with it. Same thing again this year, no Senko. I’ll also add force myself (again) to fish offshore. I fished offshore last year but would go back to beating the banks when nothing but offshore.

He’s a pretty darn good coach that’s for sure! Michigan didn’t surprise me.

Pretty good Michigan-Alabama game so far. Nordin (Michigan kicker) has been spot on so far. We’ll see how the second half goes. Minnesota I think is surprising the heck out of Auburn and their fans.

I was thinking “oh boy here we go” but so far Michigan is surprising me.

I’m glad today is here. All the other ‘bowl’ games are boring. I’m not sure why 6 or 7 win teams get invites but oh well. The New Years Day bowls are much much better. Who ya watching and who ya got? I’ll be watching Michigan hopefully beat up on Alabama. Realistically I’m sure Michigan doesn’t stand a chance.

Has anyone heard from @everythingthatswims in a while? I haven’t came across a post of his For quite some time. @Senko lover was another but he chimes in last week.

I bet we’ll be home by 9 and asleep by 10:30. Getting old isn’t too bad, I enjoy sleep. ?
