0* windchills today, almost 50 a week from now. Today’s the only real cold day.

That’s the experience I’ve had the two times I’ve went steelhead fishing here in Michigan. That was enough for me, too many crazy anglers in that group. I’m sure most aren’t, but I’ll stick to bass.

I could count on one hand how many channels get watched at our house too. There’s a channel callEd METV, they play old school shows. Last Sunday night there wasn’t crap on TV. I came upon this channel and the three of us watched a couple episodes of the Flintstones! My son (9) was glued to the tv, he didn’t know what to think. He said he liked it, we told him that’s what we watched growing up. I looked at the show info and saw it was from the 60’s. I never knew it was that old. Three words, Hong Kong Phooey

I wonder if BASS will add a few live cameras to the Opens these guys are fishing? To kind of echo what you said, it is going to be a long difficult road for some, and if some don’t make it in year one or two might be the end of their careers.

You rookies, throw out the bread and milk. All you need to survive a snow storm is whiskey and beer. That’s what us northerners use to get by.....that probably explains the baby boom up here every Sept. ,October, and November. ?

I read Mark (I believe is the hosts name) had a minor heart attack and had a couple stents put in. He’s feeling a lot better and looking forward to coming back.

I never thought about it until you said something a couple days ago, you’re right it seems like the worst of the weather is always right over AJ land! I’m not sure what you did to tick off Mother Nature but maybe a peace offering is in order? She sure has your number. ?

I’m sure FEMA and the Red Cross will be there shortly to assist in the relief efforts! ?

19* this morning, the wind is blowing good, making the windchill close to zero. Friday is a high of 40. I think I could tolerate the fluctuations like this all winter. The reality is we’re probably going to get dumped on, it’ll be bitter cold, and time will begin to stand still. Oh well.
