I imagine Garmin wasn’t worried from the get go. Garmin licensed the technology to Lowrance and by the looks of it they didn’t give them everything. ?

All the chatter I’ve read regarding the glass-infused aluminum hull says it’s an all aluminum hull with fiberglass storage, console, TM foot tray, and so on. Nothing really revolutionary that I know of. They are cool looking boats and Naturally there will be hiccups along the way, like you said time will tell. The videos are cool and they have me intrigued even though I’m not in the market or even in the ballpark price wise.

I agree with you 100% on what you’re saying. A constantly moving TM or windy days it’s not going to work. On calm days it’s an extra tool. For an extra $100-200 I’d say it’s worth it.
