  1. I found a Senko at the bottom of the lake one time that was as big as a 12ga shell and 10” long.
  2. Welcome to Bassresource
  3. They look good to me as well. I watched a video a couple weeks ago Fish the moment, and Johnny was talking about side imaging. He explained that you need to take your depth and subtract it from your width. Example, your’s is set to 100’ each side. Your depth is around 26’, so, you’ll only be able to see 75-80’ out and it looks like your image is fading out around 80’.
  4. Welcome to Bassresource Blake.
  5. For the record I suggested Duck lake. You’re like my wife, she asks, “does this look good” or “do you like this decoration or this one?” She always does the opposite of my answer. ? Side note, 48* on Crystal lake tells me my smaller lakes are probably a few degrees warmer and I need to get my poop in a group. With the cooler nights I’d figure low 40’s not upper!
  6. Either I’ve been very lucky or the lakes I fish have very nice people who live on them. My experience thus far: People don’t pay attention They ask how the fishing is or They tell us where the fish are I did have a run in with a homeowner on the lake we just moved from. When I was running my boat on our lake he went to the association president to complain about me creating too much of a wake and eroding his shore. I went and confronted him, things got pretty heated. I explained the laws, that I was well beyond the distance required by law, and I had it all on GPS and he was more than welcome to call the DNR or marine patrol. I finally got through to him and we eventually parted ways shaking hands. That has been my only negative experience on the water and it wasn’t even fishing related. He always complained about the boat traffic on that lake.
  7. Black Max is a great reel! You won’t be disappointed.
  8. Where in west Michigan specifically?
  9. Your honesty is always appreciated Paul. ?
  10. Is your electric to the house overhead or underground? I know you said the electric company said it was in the house and not their end, but they said the same thing to me. Turned out it was a bad leg on their end underground. Has it rained lately where you are? I see underground lines go bad quite often after a good rain and the soil is saturated.
  11. Two Fishing related, years ago I got my wife a pink spinning combo for her birthday. That morning we went out fishing. She had a bass on and reeling it back. Within 20 or so feet of the boat a good sized pike came up and grabbed her bass. The bass was hooked and the pike had the bass and the fight was on for a split second until snap! I wish I could’ve captured the terrified look on her face. Non fishing Hunting in NW Nebraska. Another guy in our hunting party shot and missed a buck. The buck comes flying out of a dry creek bed huffing and puffing, and stops around 300 yds in front of me. I pull my gun up, see a massive rack, and pulled the trigger. I missed! The buck runs to another field and I hear a gun shot followed by hooting and hollering. My friends dad shot it. That buck was a 20” 11pt and scored 160”. I was absolutely devastated I missed the buck of a lifetime!

  13. Welcome Carlos!
  14. The sign on the back says only 110 calories. That’s pretty darn good for something that size. ?

  18. Welcome to Bassresource. Take a minute to swing by the Introductions forum and introduce yourself. My son has a Mach Crush combo and really likes it. I’m an Abu and Daiwa guy myself. All three have affordable combos available.
  19. Ripped jeans, minor starvation badge….if that’s the case we need to send food to a certain member from Indiana right away! He doesn’t have much time left! ?
  20. Welcome to the forums. Feel free to stop by the introduction section and tell us a little about yourself. I see you’re from Michigan. I’m from the middle of the mitten. Now for your question. What kind of distance are you getting now and what are you throwing to get the distance? My son has had your same reel going on two years now with zero issues.
  21. If they crew to 5# we’d need to fish them on Musky gear!
  22. Cajun Metamucil? ?
  23. He’s my kryptonite
