I get it. Just jerking your chain. I made 4 trips out to Nebraska and took my 30-06 every time. I have the same mindset as you. If I’m going to pony up the money to hunt out of state I’m going to be dang sure I’m putting the odds in my favor as much as possible.

I have two reels currently with flouro the rest are braid. I currently have Seagar Red Label. It’s time to change it out so I have some Tatsu on the way. I’m curious to see what all the rave is about. ?

Robinhood didn’t use a gun! ? I had moose two years ago and it was dang good! I’ve always heard antelope didn’t taste very good. I’ve never had it though.

Have you ever had highlander? That has a distinct flavor (more gamey flavor). My wife and son don’t care for Highlander. I’m betting it’s the mix breed bringing some other flavor into the equation. My friend raises angus limousine cross and that tastes like regular angus.

A couple years ago I got a decent or of jigs from @Siebert Outdoors with the living rubber skirt. I filled the bathtub up and dumped them in there and said, “hey 6poundbass check this out.” He was entertained for a bit.

Sophomore year I gambled on a curveball that was coming right at my head. It curved just enough to hit me in the jaw. DOWN GO FRASIER! ?

Yup, lower 80’s for three days. Tomorrow high of 38 and lows in the mid 20’s.

Full disclosure, I’ve never watched a single video of his unless you count the Orkin commercial he’s in. ? I looked at some other TB tournament results from this year and his day one weight would’ve got him a win in a few tournaments and a top 3 in every tournament I saw. He averaged 25lbs this week which would’ve given him a top 5 in every tournament I saw this year. Obviously there’s probably tournaments there quite often and I don’t know where to look to see every result this year, but, I’d say his three days of fishing was above average wouldn’t you? Average would put him middle of the field. I don’t think anyone is crazy enough to think he’s the next KVD just yet. He could dominate the Opens this year, he could be average, or he could be bottom of the field the rest of the tournaments this year…it’s fishing.

Yay, that’ll be here tomorrow! Thankfully it’ll be a rain snow mix and it won’t stick because it’s been too warm.

That’s a nice score! The fishing section at my local Walmart sucks and they never have sales like that.
