Exactly. The GT56 has a little better imaging than the 54 and I believe it can go deeper as well. I have a 54 on both my Echomaps. Not a big enough difference for me to even consider changing to 56’s.

Can’t answer your question per sey, but if you’re willing to go to a 12” then do it. If you were to go with the 9” and aren’t happy you’re SOL. I’ve never heard anyone say I wish I had bought a smaller screen.

When my wife and I were dating her niece was two and couldn’t say Jeremy, so my future father in-law called me JJ which she quickly picked up on. 18 years later she still calls me JJ, so does her boyfriend, my 15 year old nephew, and my mother in-law. My dad, stepmom, step siblings, and their families all call me J.

My father in-law was a GM at a plant in China and would bring my wife back bags of herbal tea all the time. It almost always smelled good when she would steep them (or whatever you call it) some of it didn’t taste bad, most had a bitter taste. No clue what any of it was because it wasn’t written in English. She enjoyed it and is into those things, me, not so much.

I have IBS and took prescription pills for it which helped a bit but would back me up. My wife gave me peppermint pills to take. What a life changer it’s been! I can now eat my trigger foods, eggs being the only one I still have to be careful with. They help with heartburn too.

Look into a deck boat as well. Like others have said though, 16-17’ would be a bit cramped and $10k budget is going to narrow your search for what you’re needing. A deck boat gives you a big platform like a pontoon but loads and unloads like a regular boat.

Thankfully the ground was warm enough so the roads didn’t get bad, but it stuck on the trees and everything else. By morning everything was covered in ice and by early afternoon it had all melted. It was pretty wild, trees and power lines were down all over. Had you not known there was an ice storm you would’ve thought a severe storm had rolled through. What’s your total snowfall for the year so far? Our horizontal trees and power outages were due to freezing rain over the past two weeks.
