Odd time to change a lightbulb in the traffic light.

Congrats!

9 inches of snow last night. light fluffy stuff so clean up should be a breeze. We’ve received 76” of snow so far and typically have 45” at this point. We went 25 days in a row without measurable snow. Crazy winter so far.

I got a similar one a couple years ago and my son (10 at the time) put it together. Fairly quickly too.

Nah, too many safety features to keep anything bad from happening. Fuel oil furnaces, now those you can make into a bomb if you don’t know what you’re doing. I never cared for those.

I can attest to this. I was checking inlet and outlet pressure on a gas valve one time and forgot to put the plug back in. I fired up the furnace, saw the plug glow, heard the gas valve open, heard the hissing sound, followed by a fireball coming at me. Who needs coffee in the morning when you have a fireball come at you and the smell of burnt hair. ? I actually did that twice!

I’m too far removed from the HVAC trade to be much help, but from what I remember, there were plenty of times I would take the hoses off to find a white powder inside that would interrupt (if you will) the proper functioning of the pressure switch. I’d clean that out by gently blowing or sucking on it. You have to be very careful when doing this, because the diaphragm in the pressure switch is VERY fragile!

I’m not sure what this cold, white, fluffy stuff is that keeps falling from the sky. Whatever it is, it’s making the roads slippery and causing cars to crash.

That was my late teens early twenties, way beyond that mess now.

I’ll be 40 in August and I’m the opposite of you. I started with Jack and Coke. Then Bush Lite, Jack and Coke, Bush Lite Jack and Coke, and so on. Then puke! ? I quickly got tired of hugging the porcelain throne and found my go to and have stuck with it ever since.

Not a fan of the Dallas Cowboys ?

My son is! And we’re Bills fans, or at least I still am. He’s still young and a bandwagon boy like most his age. He’ll come around in September.

Didn’t quite work out. ? Not even close actually.

Now that the Bills are out I’m rooting for the niners. What a cool story it would be if Mr Irrelevant takes his team to the Super Bowl and wins.

Well that sucked. Too many issues the second half of the season for Buffalo. Defense sucked today.
