Trick Worms And Finesse Worms
In the Zoom brand, they are the same, just different lengths. You rig and fish them the same way.

Help Me With Info About This Old Evinrude Trolling Motor
Correct the 12" prop models were call High Output. They are three speed and 12 or 24 volts. The 8" prop models were 41#. The Pan that goes under the mount has the rubber pads that the motor rests on when stowed. The "Go Fast" boat crowd likes those old motors since they are so lightweight. This is the HO model on a 12" jon boat I used to have:

Trolling Motor Housing Magnets
Maybe you need to replace some parts on your motor mount so it keeps tension on the motor against the mount pads. Yea, heat sure would affect the adhesive. I had four of those OMC motors, only thing I had issues with was breaking the steering cable. One of the best trolling motors ever made.

Fishfinder On My Ascend Fs10 Kayak
The transducers for 2D sonar units are not directional-turn it any way you want if you are not using an external mount bracket. If you are gong to do the shoot-thru installation, get the proper transducer for that. It will be smaller overall. If you get the Humminbird unit, contact Humminbird to exhange the supplied one for the XP 9 20 T. That one has a remote temperature sensor so you can get the water temperature reading.

Which $99 Depthfinder Should I Buy?
It's a tie. The Garmin seems to have the best display. No data for the Lowrance.

Additional note, Lowrance has the Go Free accessory that does the same thing. Do a web search for it.

Sonarphone By Vexilar
I get a wi-fi connection in my house from a wi-fi transmitter in my house. The sonar does wi-fi and a smart phone does wi-fi, you would need a wi-fi capable tablet or computer to get the signal from the sonar unit. wi-fi replaces a cable connection, it doesn't determine what the transmission is. If you don't have a smart phone or device that has wi-fi capability, you can't use the device.

Kipawa Trolling Motor Prop
That is part of it and enough reason to not use them.

The short answer is FORGET IT. Choose another prop that is in current production.

It may be an interesting product IF you have a mobile device that has a display you can see in bright sunlight.

Mounting Humminbird Si Transducer On Jackplate...
Contact Transducer Shield and Saver, tell Scap what boat you have and what jackplate you have. He will have the parts for that. It will be the TM-HDsi mount and a L bracket that is made for your setup. It will position the transducer in the correct attitude. When you do that installation type, you will not get any depth reading when on plane. That will take an additional 2D transducer for a shoot-thru installation XP 9 20. You connect the two transducers to the display with the AS SIDB Y cable. I see that you don't have a correct installation for your present sonar unit if it is a regular 2D sonar unit and not one of the smaller Side Imaging units, the transducer looks like the XNT 9 20 T . You mounted your system instead of installing it. Installing takes into consideration your boat's design and performance capability, a transom mounted transducer for on-plane depth readings is not it. The proper installation for you is a shoot-thru transducer. If you want more details, send a PM.

Kipawa Trolling Motor Prop
Those will void the motor mfg warrenty. The modified version that Motor Guide used to market is OK. (hydrilla hacker) It is popular on weedy lakes for Motor Guides--lots that fish Guntersville use them. The Minnkota Weedless Wedge works better and some modify it to fit a Motor Guide. Another weedless prop for Motor Guides is the Safari.

Thermocline
Find the thermocline=find the fish. This lake is somewhat deeper but the principle is the same:

Installing A Bow Mounted Fish Finder
There is no ground wire on the trim switch. The switch distributes the positive side of the circuit to each trim soleniod just like a light switch on your house. If you get a simple sonar unit with mininum power requirements, yes you can use the boat wiring harness. A unit with GPS, 2D sonar, and the imaging technology has a higher amp usage and typically the resistance in the boat wiring harness cannot support those units.

Broke My Chatterbait At The Hook Today
A split ring will kill some of the vibration/sound that a true Chatterbait has. It will also cause the lure to "die" during the retrieve and not vibrate at all. I have some custom Chatterbait knock-offs that are made that way. They are in my do-not-use collection.

Transducer Question
If it worked fine with the outboard attached, it should work the same without the outboard as long as the transducer is wet. If when you are running the boat at the bow, you could be raising it out of the water. Have the unit operating and go to the back of the boat and see if it works OK then. If it does, add some more weight to offset the loss of motor weight. Another battery at the back of the boat is a useful weight addition. A friend of mine has a 14' Grizzly jon boat and his transom is out of the water when he is at the bow running his bow trolling motor.

Good Humminbird With Sidescan?
Yep a discontinued 998c SI or a current model 898c HD SI is in that price range. There is the 798ci HD SI for about $1000 and the 598ci HD SI for about $800. Both have the 5" displays There is also a new model 398ci SI with an even smaller display in the $500 range. BIGGER is better for the Imaging technology.

First Time Buying A Fishing Graph
The interpretation deal takes the effort by you to take the time to learn it. If you have no knowlege about marine electronics, you would benefit from sources that explain what and how they do what they do. This is one thread that will get you started: http://www.bassresource.com/bass-fishing-forums/topic/111998-how-does-a-fish-finder-work/?hl=%2Bunderstanding+%2Bsonar#entry1221071 After you do that you will have some idea of what to expect and what equipment would give that to you. Most brands have equivelent models in about the same price range.

Lowrance Elite-4X Dsi Fishfinder
That is the point of my first post. You need both for fishing. Scanning is a search tool, stuff has to move or be within the very thin imaging pulse before the unit can display it.
-
Lowrance Elite-4X Dsi Fishfinder
Thanks, so he is tied to the bridge to do that? Can you do that with the use of a trolling motor and no anchor or tying to some structure and keep a jig, dropshot, blade bait, or spoon within the imaging pulse that is just a few inches from front to back? I am well aware how stuff is represented with imaigng at speeds from zero to about 10 mph. I use it everyday, all day, when on the water.
