Using Google Earth
The Navionics Web App has three functions now. One is the Nautical maps by Navionics One is the Sonar Charts that is user generated One is satellite images for Ski maps. In all cases, the data is updated daily. The Sonar Charts layer is the one I use to create HD contour maps of waters that have no maps or no accurate maps.

Navionics Or Lakemaster Sd Card?
Humminbird units cannot use Lowrance Hotspots mapping. Humminbirds are Lakemaster and Navionics compatable.

360 Light On Bass Boat
I have done it two ways. The first was when I was not sure I was going to much night fishing with a partner. I used a white dome light like the red and yellow ones that truckers decorate with. I attached it to a large suction cup used for auto roof racks. Just stuck it to the motor hood. The permanent one was a surface mount anchor light pole cut down to about 8 inches. In both cases I just paralled the boat anchor light receptacle and used quick disconnect terminals on the wire at the motor so I could remove the hood when needed. I do not have that boat anymore.

Do You Yell When You Have The Bucketmouth In Hand?
No, I act like I have caught a fish before. It's no big deal.

Navionics Or Lakemaster Sd Card?
With a Humminbird unit you sure can no matter if the lake outline is shown on the maps or not. Just do the recordings and upload them to the Navionics server. Later download a HD contour map to be viewed on the FishNChip layer. This is one I did what just had an outline. The outline was not accurate, so Navionics re-did the shoreline to apply all of my recordings since some were shown on land with the original outline. BEFORE: AFTER:

Using Google Earth
ACME mapper 2.1 is all inclusive for what you want and you can print the screen view you have.

Hp Restricted Lakes
The issue is there are various applications of "idle speed" and "no wake". Just spend some time around a marina on a large lake and watch how that is obeyed. Honesty also is lacking in some cases. I fish some 10 HP max lakes and occasionally see some 50-250 HP outboards being operated. It seems some don't consider laws and rules apply to them. I fish some electric-only waters too. I have my boat set up for both.

Which Is More Important: Screen Size Or Side Imaging?
Side Imaging is a better tool even if the screen is as narrow as the 600 series. Screen size is not a big benefit with 2D sonar or Down Imaging since the size of displayed subjects is based on the depth. Side Imaging subject sizes are based on the SI Range setting.

Transducer Mounting Location
The prop on an outboard has nothing to do with the transducer's performance unless you run the motor in reverse. The prop rotation would only apply to an inboard type boat. The closer to the bottom of the hull you have a transom transducer, the faster you can go and still have enough water contact to get a depth reading. As stated before, you should be using a shoot-thru installation with that hull.
-
Transducer Mounting Location
IF you want to get depth readings when the boat is moving faster than a slow idle speed, the bottom of the transducer has to be at the BOTTOM of the hull. It has no water contact when the boat is moving forward at any speed or on plane where it is now. You should be using a shoot-thru installation with that hull, not a transom mount.

Hi-Vis Colored Power Pro Braid
White is the natural color of the superline fibers. It cannot be dyed or colored. Any color is a coating that wears off, or dissolves over time.

First Fish Finder
Evidently you don't understand sonar, or how it works. The sonar pulse (sound) that emits from the bottom of the "pole" is somewhat shaped like an inverted cone. The deeper the water is, the more bottom is covered. With your unit, if you are in 20' of water, the sonar coverge is about a 10' circle. If you are in 5' if water the bottom coverage is about a 2 1/2'.circle.
-
First Fish Finder
The amout of bottom coverage with that unit is about 1/2 the depth

I Am So Lost - I Know Nothing About Graphs
The best deal is all the technologies at one time. If you got the HDS-8, you would have no usable mapping or the Structure Scan accessory. It would cost you about $700 more to get the same functions that the HDS-7 bundle has. The advantage of the HDS-8 over the HDS-7 is the larger display which is desirable for multi-views, and for the Structure Scan view--BIGGER is better with that technology. Plus it has more operating options. If your interest is lower cost and max technology, the HDS-7 bundle would be the choice. I always say that any imaging technology is better than no imaging technology.

Temple Fork Outfitters Tactical Series?
Sensitivity is a non factor when throwing umbrella rigs and 80# braid. I have no idea what the relative sensitivity is.

Ethernet Cable For Humminbird
If your unit does not have HD in the model name, it is not Ethernet capable. If it does have HD, you need the AS EC QDE Ethernet adaptor for the mount and then an Ethernet cable long enough to connect the two units along the path you route the cable. 778c HD If you have the 778c, the AS INTERLINK accessory is the only connection you can use to share GPS data. http://store.humminbird.com/products/740562/778c_HD If you have the correct unit, contact a marine electronics dealer for the purchase. They have better prices than the big box general sporting goods places like BPS and Cabelas. Three Rivers Marine Electronics BBG Marine Electronics Universal Mania Shut-up-and-Fish

What Does A "country Mile" Mean To You?
A "country mile" is equivelent to "all the way over thar" or " a fur piece" or " way over yonder"
-
First Fish Finder
Yes it is if you pass over them and watch the display. All sonar units function the same no matter if they have a color display or gray scale display. The sonar records sonar echos, fish produce echos, the bottom produces echos, trees produce echos, etc.

Fish Finder In A Kayak
Any transducer will shoot-thru a suitable material. Just the ones with a flat face work better. Lowrance has one designed to fit in a sit-on-top-kayak scupper hole.

Who Uses ( Spoons) In Here?
The flutter spoons are sort of popular at a little pond called Lake Fork. it will be "the thing" there in about 4 1/2- 5 months. Been there, done that.
