    Welcome from East Kentucky
  6. Most are man made with some rock bluffs and range 200-600 acres
  7. That lake also didn't and still doesn't get alot of pressure since it is a idle only lake. No big bass boats running all over the place and with several other lakes in the area that don't have restrictions on it not many people go to it.
  8. Welcome you have found a great place to tell a few stories. ;D
  9. Is anyone a member of a club in East Ky? I was thinking of joining one but wanted to talk to someone about them before I did.
  10. I would say little effect over all. When you think about it when they pull a fish from 20 feet down off a point it is going to have some type of effect but where there is a large population it wouldn't be even noticed

Mine is 3/8 to 1/2 oz most of the time. Got me when I went in WM the other moring.Darn Bait monkey
  12. I never use rattles I don't think they help but it may just be a confidence thing for me.
  13. When using soft plastics I use T-rig all the time. I have to force myself to do it any other way. I have just been so confident with this. I never saw my Dad use anything else when he was fishing worms and I guess it has just stuck with me. I did try some C-rig this past year but spent most of the year working on getting better with spinnerbaits and jigs.
  14. I use Berkley alot but also use Yum and a few others. I think it is Berkley because that is what I started using and caught some of my first fish on. Get loyal to something and it is hard to get away from it.LOL :
  15. Jigs can be fished just like a T-rigged soft bait or can be swam like a spinnerbait. When you cast them out try hopping them along the bottom short jerks of the rod up will cause it to jump off bottom then let it slowly sink back down. There are several good articles about them on this site I would look at all of them and get a better idea. Good Fishing
  16. Here were I am at it is a lot of standing timber not my fav but I do see it alot. I love to fish around docks and brush piles
  17. Sounds like fun and a great way to force yourself to learn something new. I am in
  18. Being left handed mine ends up pointing down when I pitch but up when I cast. I think it was just what become habit when I was learning
  19. All spots have a patch of rough skin on there tongues and the jaw line doesn't extend back behind the eye. Also I think there is some difference in the coloration pattern but I can't remember right now
  20. Welcome to the site. It is a great place to learn something new or brush up on something old
  21. I do learn from what I read but I think that you can't really know it till you can apply it on the water.
  22. I vote largemouth most spots jaw line only go to the eye not behind it like in the picture.
  23. 19 but some of those questions aren't fair 4.- Got many rods rods, reels and baits in excess of what I should have. really who has ever heard of having to much of these things every bait I have I need even those 300 red shad 7 inch power worms I have down in the basement ;D ;D
  24. I got mine in my name does that count ;D
  25. I would have to vote for Bassin and Bassmaster.
