  1. You can get these at any auto parts store or Lowes / Home Depot hardware stores. Its called a " Female Disconnect " You will also need a wire crimp tool to fasten to the wire. Might be a good idea to just bring your battery and wire harness with you.
  2. For that type you need this connector
  3. Well assuming you have a Marine battery you can use a Ring terminal to connect them Pictured below. If you just use a regular battery you could use universal marine battery terminal adapters to be able to use the ring terminal.
  4. Red to positive Black to Negative. don't need to connect the others.
  5. Maybe the reason you are not getting the bigger bass anymore is because they are smarter and more aware of you now. Try different baits and times of day when you go.. I bet there are still big bass there.. just wiser ones now
  6. I have some friends that say the only time to go is at the crack of dawn.. I just laugh at them lol... Well I have always gone when ever I feel like going and I catch them no matter what time of day it is. My personal best's have been in mid afternoon. Bass are opportunist's and hit out of reaction and instinct, I have caught bass that were so full they were puking shad and crawfish up but still hit my bait !! Do worry about what time of day it is, think more about what bait to use and the presentation for the conditions.. That's the key that will catch them at any time of the day.
  7. He is talking about the pedal position in relation to the motor facing forward.
  8. I have adjusted mine, Its very easy to do. Just set trolling motor down, pull off the top cover and disconnect the cable and lift the gear up or out. Then you would turn the trolling motor to the forward position then set the pedal where you want it to be in forward position. "This video may help you more, As this is the one you have so my method my be different. Just follow what he does in the video."
  9. That's where I put mine also.
  10. I was tempted to try one of these poles, thanks for the information !
  11. Well after reading lots of reviews on the Abu Garcia Revo SX spinning reel, I decided to pull the trigger on one.. WOW this reel works so well, smooth and powerful.. I am amazed how good this reel is. Just wanted to pass along my thoughts
  12. Yeah I just went out for the first time with it yesterday and LOVE the location !!!
  13. Wow I thought all Lowe boats had all aluminum decks, I know my Stinger is..
  14. WOW that would be it LOL !!
  15. Wow Lowrance is going LOW trying to make Garmin look bad because they wont give in and pay to use the "Patented name" Down view .. That's a terrible approach for a big company.. This testing is NOT from an independent source and very bias. The units are not of equal models either. Lowrence put their top of the line against what ? They just say Garmin. I don't trust this video at all.. Most of the replies with people having both models tells a different story saying they prefer their Garmin over the Lowrance... Just seems like a smear campaign to me..
  16. Just installed mine last week, I hope to get out this weekend and see how mine works !!
  17. This sounds like a Trim tab adjustment issue.
  18. I had an issue with taking on water last summer also and it turned out to be the water inlet on the bottom for the front livewell. Just had to remove it and reseal it with 3M 5200.
  19. Try your question Here >> http://www.marineengine.com/boat-forum/forumdisplay.php?30-Mercury-Mariner-Outboard-Forum Its a Mercury outboard forum, they have some very knowledgeable and helpful people in there.
  20. There is the "Steering Cable" and the "Helm" ( Steering Box )
  21. If your going to keep the boat outside leave the drain plug out with the trailer high in the front, this way it will drain right out.. Just remember to put the plug back in when you take it to the water LOL !
  22. Take your drain plug out and crank the trailer up.. it should all drain out.
  23. I haven't yet due to the weather...They make some models that are built to handle heavier electronics out of all metal and some of plastic for smaller electronics.. I have the all metal one with rubber coated ball. Mine is VERY sturdy and very heavy duty and I couldn't possibly think I could ever have to readjust it or overtighten it as it tightens down with zero effort. Do you have the plastic one maybe ?
  24. I would rather have the option of having SV than not is why I got it and the huge discount helped my decision also ! Got mine for $449 non chirp model @ Bass Pro was $749 Reg price.
  25. Haha nice eye, I was waiting to see if anyone caught that !! Always on the XM 80's channel !!
