stained water or clear water vr lure color.
That Ron's Craw grub color is very effective. One of my favorite colors too. If you ever need to downsize, but are partial to that color, Berkley PowerGrub in Pumpkinseed, is a comparable pattern that does well for multi species

Berkley Baits Scent
Their Gulp! Alive! Scent is incredible and the best on the market from my experience. I even use the Alive! Shad scent on my cat fishing bait........... shhhhh. Berkeley has done a great job with their scents and is probably why I have more confidence with a PowerWorm than any ribbontail brands

Three lure choices

Top 5 yum dinger colors

What to throw when sight fishing bass around bluegills?
Wacky rigged 4" Green Pumpkin (overcast) or Watermelon (Sunny days) both with either Red Flake or Black Flake for slow times. Bluegill patterned Square bill (like a Strike King 1.5) during dusk and dawn have worked for me in the past for those scenarios. I have some buddies that would only use swimjigs and jigs w/trailers and be completely effective too,

I respect that. You got my attention. I'll throw some Pit Bosses and Kinky Beavers next time I'm out.

Then there are ribbontails. Learn to add these guys to your soft plastic arsenal. On days that I can't buy a bite on the wacky, a black Power Worm would just get destroyed some days. Welcome to the cult

Zoom Swimmin Fluke Jr
Try using a darter head, jig head, or weighted-belly swim bait hook. A little weight embedded to the hook with keep you trace on an even keel. Weightless causes that flaw when in motion. My tip: use a Roadrunner Pro Underspin. Most weighted bell swimbait hooks on the market are too big for a Swimming Fluke Jr. I do really well on the bluegill flash and baitfish colors

Megabass pop x vversus pop max
@IndianaFinesse I definitely have faith in this lure and like how their staff handled things so responsively. Included a pic just as a visual. Thanks for the details bro.

Megabass pop x vversus pop max
I ended up talking to a Product Designer at Megabass this morning and he was extremely helpful. He said that the Pop X should only rest at a 20-30 degree angle. Their customer service is outstanding and they are paying for shipping because they want to quality test it to identify the issue.

Drop Shot for Walleye? And what line to use?
I used to drop shot for eyes in CO and I recommend the two following baits for this technique: -Jackall Crosstail Shad - watermelon pepper nose-hooked (action is lethal with the slightest movements) -Gulp! Alive! Minnow - Black Shad 2.5" I also used #10 braid for sensitivity and casting distance from shore. #8lb P-Line Fluroclear leader and a Gama dropshot hook with cylindrical weight attached 18"-24" down. My best days were when it was windy. Good luck!

Walking the Dog: Troubleshooting Needed
I'm learning how to walk the dog and it's taking me some practice. I'm using lures like the Zara Spook Puppy and Megabass Pop X. I frequently get my braided line caught in the front treble hook and it seems like I'm spending more time unraveling than fishing. Any tips? Would Mono help? I'll probably add a mono leader for stretch regardless for those treble hook lures.

Megabass pop x vversus pop max
I can't catch a single bass on the pop x, but will throw on a Zara spook puppy and immediately start getting results. What retrievals are working for you guys? Also, when I pause the Pop X, it turns heads up and the tail end goes vertically underwater almost 90 degrees. Is it supposed to stay horizontal at all times?

Ultralite fishing tackle
What this gentleman said ^ For the pre-spawn, throw some micro-chatterbaits and wake it back for great surface-level action! I like #8 braid or nanofil w/ #6 fluoro leaders for throwing ultralight tackle. Finesse jigs, like SK Bitsy Bug w/ Netbait Tiny Paca chunk was dynamite for me during the winter. In the Fall, tiny Rat-L-Traps (chrome w/ blue back) did some work. If I only had to pick one lure, year-around, 2" or 3" pearl grub all day long. They kill it at night too! You'll catch channel catfish too. Honorable mention: 3" Sassy Shad on a darter heard. Those smaller paddletails have caught me plenty of 2-3 lbers consistently at highly-pressured urban ponds with the main forage being small threadfin shad. Bluegills and craws are very scarce where I fish, so ultralight fishing has been a game changer for me in the city.

Spawn in Colorado
When I lived in Denver, metro area ponds had LMB spawning in April. Wish I had more insight for the FOCO region but some of the fellas from FE should help. I would place money that they are in the post spawn where you are at. Throw a 3" white grub for me!Tight lines.
