Does it float?
Xcite baits maximus worms. They are 10.5 inches. I throw them on a Texas and carolina rig and then when they get torn I use them for shakey heads

Diawa CT
I doubt they replace it. Idk how it could get any better. The tatula line fishes twice as good as any other reel in that price point. But, companies do stupid stuff all the time. Guess I'll start buying them up.

Cold water Crankin & Swimbaits
Nice job! Good looking fish. Out weather is set to dive this weekend as well. Make the most of it!

What line to put on my new crankin stick?
I also like 30Lb braid to a mono leader. Your baits will dive deeper in my personal experience And they rip out of grass better. Also if you get snagged its cheaper to bend out a hook then to replace a whole new crankbait

ROAD TRIP!!
Even after offering my wife a full week of vacationing in branson, and me only fishing 1 day, I still got the death stare. Dang only about 5.5 hrs away.

Can I get it done flipping with NRX 893c??
No he's not saying that. He's saying that the craw, hook, skirt, band or wire tie, and brush guard weigh around .5 ounces. The lead head weighs around .5 ounces.

Anybody heard from fishnkamp?
Have wondered the same thing. Hope all is well. And like you said he did give good insight to a lot of topics, especially the daiwa reels, dobyns rods, and irod rods.

Wheres the best place to work????
I had an amazing job working for a mucicipality. No weekends, lots of holidays, played on heavy machinery. But I made 7.75 an hr. But I was able to go to college while doing it. Got my law enforcement degree and I was set right? Wrong! What I thought would be a great job, didn't turn out to be so great once comparing it to my current job. Pay was mediocre unless I wanted relocated, which I didnt, lots of politics in my small county, and no job openings. So I started working for Toyota motor Corp. Started out at 16.50 and am well above $20 4.5 years later and will be close to $30 an hour in a few more years. Work about 50 Hrs a week and about every third saturday. Insurance is great and 401k and pension are nearly as good as the coal miners. Do I love it? No. But I worked my butt off to get the title I have now as mixroom. I do however love the pay and benefits for my wife and kids. 12 minutes from home and a pretty set schedule.

Berkley Crankbaits
Have used the cutter 110+ and warpig with good results. Quality baits with quality hooks. I'd much rather pay 7 bucks for baits with super sharp hooks and good split rings than buy a bait for 6 bucks with junk hardware. That being said, every bait has a place. So stocking up initially would be good but I wouldn't limit yourself to 1 brand. I want to try the squarebull but don't throw a squarebill much since I've picked up a bladed jig and swim jig.

Original Bait-cast Reels Settle a Debate
Very cool info here. Being a relatively young angler (26) and only using casting gear for about 12 years it's always cool to learn about the equipment used before my time.

upgrading from tatula ct.. SV version or curado k or other?
I say that sv. Can be had for 130 bucks. And it performs flawlessly for me.

Neoprene gloves not warm at all
I've heard that as well from some of my friends that duck hunt. They all bought neoprene starting out, but ended up in breatheables because they would get too hot and sweat in their neoprenes

Funniest Fishing Stories
I've got one, it was approximately 10 years ago and the girl I was "dating" said her step dad liked to fish, so I said let's go. He said he had a honey hole full of 1lb bluegill and red ear. Even better. Its was early May so the gills were spawning. We loaded up his rickety 12ft boat and picked up one of his buddies and hit the pond. Boy oh boy were we laying into them. One right after another. I was sitting in the middle and at one point I couldn't even fish because I was passing the bait back and forth and putting the fish on the stringer that was tied to the side of the boat. So after 50-60 big bluegill and red ear are on the stringer it started getting pretty heavy. Next thing I knew we started to rock a bit and using my cat like reflexes I grabbed the sides of the small boat to help stabilize us. Which was great because we settled down shortly...the big stringer of fish also settled down shortly, settled to the bottom of the pit! I tried to grab it, I yelled for help, I even tried to snag it with my rod But to no avail. We were sitting in approximately 40ft of water casting into 3 ft. I felt so bad for wasting all those fish, it still embarasses me when I think about it. But I can't help but laugh at the thought of someone seeing us idiots out there in that little tin boat balling and squawling and watching our guaranteed fish fry sink to the bottom.
