  1. Fluorocarbon with a ballvearing swivel 16 inches up the line connected to braid
  2. 6'10 heavy falcon Bucoo sr $110 Daiwa tatula ct $100 on ebay Or Daiwa fuego 7' heavy $70 with fuego ct off eBay for $65
  3. I have a 7'5 mh crankshaft. Have thrown 1/2ounce traps all the way to 8xd type baits. Very versatile. Not perfect for either end of the spectrum but gets the job done well
  4. Lol I took it the other way.
  5. Copoly and mono have the same if not better abrasion resistance as fluoro. A quality mono is much thinner than fc. Let's not even get started on knot strength/knot choice. Fc has handling issues as well. Fluoro also has more stretch than any other quality line (no matter what the pros say)
  6. Pull your lines super tight and make sure your half hitches are really tight as well. Like stayed above the braid makes a Chinese finger trap of you will, trapping the leader inside which means it slips until in gets tight, but Then wont become loose once tied correctly. Another thing I do is wrap more times. For 15-30 braid I wrap 30 times, for 50-65lb I wrap 26-28. Yes it lengthens thebknkt but doesn't make it more bulky.
  7. Since you're beginning again, if suggest super budget friendly daiwa fuego ct off of ebay for about 65 bucks. Then if you decide you want another you can grab the sv tws, tat ct, or another fuego and still be under your $200 budget
  8. 10.5 inch excite baits maximus worm. 6/0 ewg 3/8 ounce weight. 7lbs 2oz. My pb...for now
  9. Close to the world record in length
  10. Good luck! Hope they're biting whatever it is you are throwing! I bet it will be a great experience
  11. Looks like it's a yamamoto zako. But there's a 50% chance I'm wrong
  12. I've never been to a bps to buy anything. The closest one is 100 boring miles away and is one of the worst ones I've ever been too. Usually we'd go if we had nothing to do in a Sunday afternoon and wanted some hot wings because there was a buffalo wild wings close by. But I like the scenery and atmosphere and the big fish tank.
  13. Northlake tackle reed runner. Good quality and good keeper for a trailer. That's a big one for me because I always use abswimbait trailer on my spinnerbaits, but never a trailer hook
  14. Yeah that's what I did. 10.49 for 1000 yards
  15. My ecoboost definitely runs way better in the heat of the summer. Not that it's any slouch in the winter though, even info do need plugs and coils
  16. Wow that one is an early shed!
  17. Good to know, was skeptical because of the price.
  18. Ordered a couple spools of senshi. 10Lb and 20Lb. 10 for jerkbaits and small Crankbaits and 20Lb for big spinnerbaits, bladed jigs, carolina rig leaders, and big walking baits. Noticed it is very thin per lb test. Anyone have recent reviews of this product. Most reviews I've searched for a a bit older. Thanks in advance.
  19. Daiwa fuego, ct, or sv tws. Own all 3 and they are great especially for the price you can get them for on ebay
  20. Daiwa fuego 8' heavy. 60 bucks online
  21. My Cubbie bear!
  22. A lot of guys prefer to use straight shanks for every type of Texas rig. I use them for pitching/punching but it's only because I like a longer hooks when I am dragging a big worm or creature. If I could find a long straight shank is definitely be up for using Them for dragging worms
