  1. Do you mean is the extra $1-$2 make a difference? If so, I guess it just depends on what you are comparing. The shape and action might be similar, but the quality of hooks can be the difference between landing and not landing a fish.
  2. Double pitzen for this guy.
  3. It’s the million dollar question. Love doing business with them and more importantly the FREE LURE. With that said, I’m sure my next purchase will be from Digitaka.
  4. I know how expensive those Grass Pieces are so I already know the ending. RIP clam.
  5. I bought something REALLY exciting! Ok maybe not exciting, but a no brainer purchase. A large 20% off gift card from The Hook Up Tackle. Most likely will get a couple of P5’s out of it.
  6. JLS needs to hop on the Digitaka business model.
  7. Very interesting. Not typical chatter trailers. Do you keep the appendages on the Nories Switch? Did you come up with that on your own or did you see it somewhere? I’m just curious if there’s underwater footage? Thanks!
  8. Yeah sales tax is what drives me away from Tackle Warehouse myself. Now Omnia is charging it. Ugh. Now I'm probably changing focus to The Hook Up, Discount Tackle, and The Tackle Trap. It actually works out because the smaller guys will get my money.
  9. Does the The Hook Up Tackle charge sales tax? If not, I'm going to hit this offer up BIG.
  10. You can opt out of it.
  11. Did you buy it directly from them????? If not, take it back to the store you bought it from. I'm sure you have already read their warranty policy, if not I pasted it below. Once you open that bad boy up you are SOL on the warranty. BTW, I'd fight like hell to get it replaced for no additional charges just like they say in the first line. I'd be ticked as well. Reel warranty We will repair or replace without any additional charges. Any ARK reel to be determined defective due to workmanship or materials for a time period of one year from the original purchase date by consumer. The warranty is only to the original owner and a copy of the dated receipt must be presented. After we receive the reel, the reel will be inspected to locate the issue. If it is determined to be a manufacturing defect, we will repair or replace the reel and send it back to you at no charge. This warranty does not cover abuse, improper use, dirt, rust or normal scratching or wear marks. Please do not remove or disassemble any parts of the reel, if reel has been disassembled your warranty will be voided. To protect against loss or damage in transit, your reel should be carefully packaged and adequately insured. Please retain all shipping receipts and tracking information.
  12. Thanks for all of the replies. I'm still on the fence about buying something. To me, it's not something to replace spinning. I'll still throw a wacky or a neko on spinning. It's just an additional fun way to fish. I'm either going to buy a BFS combo or upgrade a current combo. Insert "Why not both?" GIF. LOL THANKS AGAIN.
  13. I'd start by finding someone you know that has the gear and experience and go with them a few times. See if you like it. I wouldn't mind trying it after I retire but man you can spend a bunch of money before you even drill your first hole.
  14. Was just talking about Seinfeld here in the office 5 minutes ago. Greatest show ever, never to be outdone.
  15. I checked that place out once. Boy did it look kinda sketchy. LOL
  16. For those that have tried BFS fishing, what has your experience been like? Better than expected? Worse? Advantages and disadvantages? Have some big fish stories? Good or bad. THANKS!
  17. I think we give too much credit to fish sometimes. A bass has a brain the size of a peanut. A good example I can think of is Musky fishing (although I've never done it). You can catch them right at the boat, doing figure 8's with 3/4 of your rod sticking in the water. Fish ain't that smart sometimes. Now, am I still anal about color selection?
  18. Today is 12/15/25. The earliest I can fish is probably 4/18/26. That's the first Saturday after the 4/15 tax deadline. Soooo with the help from my friend Google, that's 124 days from now. Gosh I can't wait to retire. Not being able to fish cold water in the pre spawn blows goats.
  19. I'm sorry but that's just bad business. There's not a rod out there that I would wait > 8 months for.
  20. Welcome from Iowa. Go Hawks!!!
  21. Less visible, less stretch, sinks. With that said, I hate using it. Even top of the line floro gets super finicky at times. Nothing better than throwing on brand new Tatsu and then having almost all of it wasted due to one bad cast.
