  1. I sure do remember that reel. I never owned one but I definitely remember seeing it in stores/magazines. Cool find.
  2. As previously stated in a recent post, I'm not an attorney. However, I can't imagine them winning the case against MLF. MLF could possibly settle out of court and write them a check. Call it a "win" if you want. I could see Flint Davis maybe being on the hook if they can prove he did something illegal/reckless.
  3. Yeah at one or two, you are just playing the Lottery. No thanks.
  4. Thank goodness. Now I know why @Tennessee Boy's legal advice is always FREE. LOLOLOLOLOL
  5. Holy chit, I'm hoping that isn't correct. I can't fish a Vision 110 with three trebles??????????
  6. Here is what I found in the Iowa fishing regs: Hooks When fishing by hook-and-line, you cannot use more than two lines or more than two hooks on each line when still fishing or trolling. When fly fishing, you cannot use more than two flies on one line. When you are trolling and bait casting, you cannot use more than two trolling spoons or artificial baits on one line. You can use a third line if you have a valid third line fishing permit. You cannot leave fishing line or lines with hooks in the water unattended by being out of visual sight of the lines. One hook is a single, double or treble-pointed hook, and all hooks attached as a part of an artificial bait or lure are counted as one hook. An Alabama (umbrella) rig is not an artificial bait or lure I'm not a dumb man but I'm also not an attorney that specializes in legal writing. Can I use 4 hooks? Only 2 hooks? Unless I'm interpreting this incorrectly, it seems that Iowa is pretty strict compared to other states. What state are you in and how many hooks can you have? Also, do you throw it?
  7. Dang, I was hoping for a different answer. LOL I was hoping for like 3 feet or more. The few times I've tried it's been I'd say 6-12 inches. I was hoping it was just the lack of clarity and not the bait or how I was fishing it.
  8. I have 2 or 3 of these still in the package. Need to try one.
  9. Got the Clutch last week and have around 3 outings with it. So far no luck. How much visibility do you like for glidebaits? I bought the bone. Not sure if that was a good idea since the two lakes I've fished with it so far don't have any shad. They are mostly eating bluegills and crappies. Nice going btw!
  10. I'm pretty sure you can catch every fish in the lake with the 3". 3" if you want numbers. 4" if you want size. JMO.
  11. I gave the underspin a try the other day. 3" Mayor in a very natural shad color (not sure exact color). 1/4 oz Dirty Jigs underspin. At first glance, I was thinking how is this not going to catch something. Doesn't get much more realistic. Boy was I right. I have a nice spinning rod that doesn't get used much anymore that might be a dedicated smallish swimbait rod now.
  12. Sorta hard to flip from a yak so I ain't got one.
  13. I have a Griffon but haven't used it yet. It's pretty small and will need to throw it on spinning gear. Got it free from JLS. Cute little guy. LOL
  14. You shouldn't be texting in church!
  15. Curious what the main forage is?
  16. Pretty cool idea, not sure I want a stupid orange ball in all of my pictures though.
  17. I wouldn't get a 150 reel then. 200 at least.
  18. No he's right. I was asking for your favorite lure that you have the most FUN with. For instance, a ned rig or a drop shot really aren't' that "fun" to fish, even though they can catch fish like crazy. But working a walking bait on the surface to me, is FUN. There's no right or wrong answer.
  19. Well, my said favorite lure is now hanging in a tree 10 feet up in the air. Only one I had. I'm contemplating a rescue mission, just not sure how to do it. Only one I had, only fished about three times. $20 down the drain, or should I say up the tree.
  20. Funny because I threw two new-to-me baits last night. The Shower Blows and then a Clutch glide bait. I’m going to love the glides as well, but last night the visibility was like 6” so not ideal. Wasn’t really ideal for topwater either but still caught a decent bass.
  21. Putters yes, drivers no. That would make it illegal. The only club that can have a flat sided grip is the putter.
  22. Yeah I caught one last night on that Shower Blows. Decent sized fish that jumped three times. Sticky hooks and a good rod, never came close to losing her.
  23. Soooo looks like walking baits are fun to throw. LOL 3/3 so far.
