Dedicated Flipping Reels
I usually recommend the 94mm Hawg Handle for Flipipng and Pitching, the longer 102MM that you have in your picture is what I use primarily for moving baits.

Hot Livewell?
I don't tournament fish, since I would rather fun fish ! Nevertheless, I do keep fish in the live-well to release back in my neighborhood pond and I haven't had any significant mortality in many years of fishing in the hot Florida weather. I get a distilled gallon water jug and freeze it and let that baby float in the live-well all day long, also add the recommended amount of please release me to the live well when I add fish. During the day I have my livewell recirculate water every 2 to 5 minutes depending on temperature and keep an eye on the fish to make sure they are in good health. I only change water out if it looks bad or becomes dirty from the fish regurgitating stomach contents.

How Long Do You Last
Two years ago family keys vacation my days went like this 6 AM to 9 AM flats fishing usually solo, 9 AM to 11 AM breakfast and offshore rigging, 12PM to 5 PM offshore fishing or diving, 6PM-8PM dinner, 10 PM to 12 PM bully-netting for lobster. Did it for 2 straight weeks, was beat up physically and mentally had to take a week break before I wanted to go fishing again.

The Good, The Bad And The Ugly
High sticking gets you everytime, happened to me on a golf course pond excursion with a Cumara when they first came out and the bite was red hot. I had a Cumara and Shimano replaced it under warranty. The 844 GLX is one sweet rod, glad you got a new one :-)!

Oakley Or Costa
How's it fit on your face? As far a lens quality I would go with Costa, Ocean Waves, or Maui Jim.

Question For The Floridians
Hugh Crumpler, guy has more hours logged on that system than anyone I know and will put you on the right fish, its your job to catch them, but don't forget its still FISHING.

Experience And Dd Bass?
Hey, its not a problem that you use "love bait" at times. so do I, but it doesn't count, same thing goes with stocked ponds, not as rewarding. Nevertheless, you don't have to twist my arm to get me to go fishing.
-
The Truth
I figured you'd be working for Westinghouse designing nuclear cores, if you had that degree....or better yet tell them you do this after being laid off from Browns Ferry, after you had it with the TVA and its shenanigans! Say you came down to Florida and considered working for FPL, but that it was too warm and the bass fishing sucked.

I bet Spur fans feel differently!

Experience And Dd Bass?
I fished from about 5 until my late 20s before I got mine. I didn't use live-bait or fish a stocked pond. Live baiting is fine, but IMO its not as fun or rewarding as artificial, don't want to offend anyone.

If they continue shooting ungodly high percentage and the Heat fall asleep its over for Miami!

Another " This Reel Vs That Reel" Thread.
Don't get me wrong they are good reels, but not a big fan of magnetic brake system compared to others, I believe they do offer a dual system on the higher end reels. So at that $160 price point I would pick the Pflueger Supreme XT, Daiwa Lexa/Tatula (yes, mag brakes, but better than MG), and the Quantum Smoke before the Lews. As well as the Curado E or I which can be found for $160. I have had mixed results with Revo series, but the pure centrifugal brakes ones shine the S series Revo.not the SX as I posted.

Another " This Reel Vs That Reel" Thread.
1. Shimano Curado or Daiwa Tatula/Lexa 2. Revos SX 3. Lews, Pflueger (Bang for buck Supreme XT), Quantums, Just my opinion based on use. Sometimes you can get a deal on this little Jewel of a reel, http://www.walmart.com/ip/Quantum-Smoke-SL150HPT-Bait-Cast-Reel/16523902

Nba Conference Finals
Gentleman's sweep = 4 games to 1 in this case

Nba Conference Finals
I can't wait for 3:30 PM today! As badly as the Pacers played during the beginning of their playoff run, I think they have righted the ship and are on a mission, which should make for entertaining basketball. The Heat has been playing well enough to inspire moderate confidence as a fan, but this series will be the only real test so far in their playoff run. So barring any injuries to key players on the Heat or the Pacers, my prediction is Heat in 6. The Spurs are somewhat healthy for an aging team and playing lights out basketball! OKC isn't playing at the level required to even match up with the Spurs with Ibaka in the line-up, without the center/power-forward to help, the Spurs should make quick work of the Thunder. Spurs in a gentleman's sweep. By the way I hate the term "gentleman's sweep," its either a sweep or not, but that's the term being used by the media for now. So come on basketball fans, make your predictions and what's your take?

Can't Decide Between A Kayak Or A Jon Boat
Not to offend any Kayak fisherman, but I've own one (Old Town Predator), fished out of it, and still use mostly to duck hunt, and I always wonder......Why the heck you would want to fish out of one compared to a myriad of other more comfortable choices, like Gheenoes, River Hawks, Jon boats, etc. The only reason would be portability and if that is not a hindrance or you fish with two people or can trailer than its no contest get a Jon Boat!

New Jackplate
From another forum "The Renegade 20 originated from the Javelin 400T. The Renegade 20 (1999-2001) became the Javelin 200 in 2002, then became the Stratos 200 ProXL (new top cap) in 2003 that is around today. In other words, the hull is a proven performer and has stood the test of time." If I were you try searching the web for Javelin or Stratos 200 boat setup to determine the optimum setting for jack plate, prop, etc. The boat should be in the low to mid 70s depending on load, fast hull!

Have A Oil Hub Question
I believe you have the following axles: http://www.ufpnet.com/Portals/0/trailerbuddygoldmaint.pdf according to the manufacture its every 20K miles or if the oil is milky. If you saw oil then most likely you have a bad seal NOT GOOD. I have Cool Hubs on my Ranger trailer and have only changed the oil out twice in 11 years.

Best Jerkbait/riprap Knot
I agree, but I always give Dwight grief about the snaps (I call it a Yankee technique, LOL). When tying knot unto split ring be aware so that knot secures over the double wire on the opposite side of the split-ring start.
