That's the funny thing about buying a new rod(s). You eventually realize "Oh, shoot. Now I have to buy a new reel for it". ?

I've heard good things about those new Elite rods. I don't need it, but I'm contemplating the 7' M spinning.

I do the more basic maintenance on my reels. And have swapped out knobs, handles etc. But I've yet to fully break one down. I really wanna tho, but I'm worried I'll mess something up. I do have some old reels I've been meaning to practice on.

This year they're only doing 12 days of Christmas, but supposedly they'll be offering more stuff during each day.

I'm not sure I have a favorite lipless. Like others have said there's many great ones out there. Some are better than others for different situations. One that has quickly become one of my favorites is the 13 Fishing Magic Man (1/2 oz multi-pitch version specifically). And they also come with Triple Grips. This is my favorite color. It works great in clear and stained water.

More towards the southern part of the state. I live in between Madison and Milwaukee. Obviously not all lakes thaw at the same time. But there's always a handful of lakes I can get on mid-March or if it's a colder spring, end of March.

For the record, I'm not actually getting a pet bass. I just so happen to come across that ridiculous carrying tank and thought I'd share.

I have a few new reels that has one knob that has some back and forth (in and out) play in it. Not the actually handle, but the knob. It isn't terrible or anything, but being OCD it still bothers me a bit. Is there an easy fix for this? On one reel I just popped the end cap off and tried tightening the screw, but that wasn't it. I'm guessing it's an issue with the fitting of a bearing?
