I've heard that there were florida strain bass released in Alqueva. Don't know if it's true?

I mostly use them in very clear water or when the fish are spooky.

They are almost identical except the coloration. Walleye: Zander: Chain pickerel are part of the pike family, which includes the musky.

Muddy, the pic is of zander, the european version of a walleye. They have the same feeding habits.

I have heard that topwaters are supposed to work in winter. I have tried it but all I seemed to do is scare the bass. I'm sure in warmer regions it will work. I have caught bass in february on a chug bug in southern spain but you can compare the weather there to florida.

I don't poo poo on it because it costs less but because it looks like poo poo! I fish cheap baits not from Japan but they have to look good. It's all in the eye of the beholder.
