trolling motor?
I personally prefer motoguide. The x3 I believe is their basic model comparable to the edge. My dad has one I put on his boat and its quieter and I just prefer it to the edge that came on my triton tin boat. The edge is a fine motor tho have had several over the years without any problems. I'll be upgrading mine in spring to something with spotlock. Good luck
- Set my PB bar fairly high!

Never gotten a crankbaits bite... anyone ever have this issue !
1.5 squarebills and rapala dt6 have accounted for many many bass for me in spring and fall. Anywhere I can find grass on flats or close to depth changes they seem to shine. Just keep experimenting and I'm sure u will see them shine as well. Good luck

Top Water Replacement Treble Hooks ?
I don't replace many as I don't do a lot of topwater fishing. When I do I prefer owner stingers. I do replace a lot of jerk bait hooks with these

KVD moving to Lew's
Kinda amazes me too that anyone can say lews is sub par. Just cause you don't use/like them, or they're not shimano or daiwa hardly means sub par. I think across the price range lews are very hard to beat. Actually been replacing some of my daiwa and shimanos with lews tournament pros. Could care less if kvd uses them or not, but I'm assuming its beneficial for him and lews. Quantum has been crapped on for years and some of their new reels are pretty slick.

Opinions on Tracker and Mercury
I looked hard at the tracker boats when I bought my Triton 18tx a few months ago. Honestly just liked the looks of the triton more. I don't think trackers are the best boats but for the money they're hard to beat. I have a 115 merc pro xs 4 stroke on mine and it's been great so far. I'd have no issues at all owning a tracker

New Setup Questions
7' med rod with 15 or 20 lb braid with a fluoro leader for me. If the water was colored enough I'd just run the straight braid

Recommend me spinning reel
As already stated...pflueger president! I have 2, dad has 2 and my other buddies have several and no issues!

My Boat Trailer Bunk Replacement ~ video
Looks promising for sure. Will they not scratch the paint on your boat? That would be my only concern. Thanks for sharing

Favorite deep diving crank?
If I had to choose one it would be the rapala dt. Have caught em pretty good on the strike king XD as well. Haven't used a lot of them tho as I seem to not do much deep cranking

I'm not a perfect angler but I just don't get it.
That's the problem with listening to other people give their opinions. Basically everything I use is trash in a lot of guys eyes. I agree completely that most problems people have with most types of line are user error. I'm not a huge fan of braid for most things but I keep 2 rods spooled with it year round and have never had any issues using old junky spiderwire braid that most will say is awful. I've learned to just try what I am curious about and figure it out for myself. Of course there are things I think are garbage that a lotta people love. Guess that's why there's such a variety

Shimano SLX quality
I've owned both and they're both fine reels. They feel different so it's hard to say one is better. The lews feels more free for lack of a better word I'm sure due to the extra bearings. The shimano is...well...a shimano. They've developed their reputation for a reason. I personally am just partial to lews. Have a cple slx reels for sale in the classifieds. For the money either reel is hard to beat.

Chatterbaits size
1/2 oz usually for me and occasional 3/8 if I'm wanting to fish it crazy shallow. Don't own any 1/4

Tactics for fishing low water
It can be tricky but low water usually concentrates them better than normal. Find some type of cover with some water on it. A local lake is down incredibly low and we managed to win a lil tournament last weekend by picking apart some boat docks and timber in 5 to 10 ft of water with jigs and senkos

I have $150 to spend on fall lures
Spinnerbaits, jerkbaits, jigs and senkos. Pretty much cover 90 percent of my fishing in the fall

New to bass spinnerbait fishing
I don't fish where you do but here in the bluegrass state I've kind of settled on strike king spinnerbaits almost exclusively. For colors all I own are white, sexy shad, and white and chartreuse. I have a cple with Colorado blades for really muddy water. 95 percent of the time I'm throwing double willow leaf blades. Definitely times when nothing else will catch em better. I've had a lot of luck in the fall on spinnerbaits. Good luck

Tariffs
It's all getting ridiculous. I understand how business works and I get to an extent we have no control over it. I am also big on principles. I am a firm believer no other senko style bait works as good as the senko itself. Used to buy a ton. Then they jacked the prices up pretty much everywhere by like 2 bucks a bag. Haven't bought a pack since. Foolish....maybe. have done well with my 3 dollar a bag dingers. I can afford to fish nice gear but I ALWAYS try to bargain shop and buy stuff I use on sale. If I fished enigma and I recieved that email I probably would never purchase anything from them again. Price increases are universal but 30 percent seems quite excessive. As usual tho just my personal opinion

Did I kill this fish?!?!?
All this is true. As is what I said. Does anyone have any proof of whether its gonna die or not? No...so why criticize someone? I assume he feels bad about it or wouldn't have put it on here to start with. I personally don't see the need to pour salt in the wound. Seems plenty have already done that. If you don't agree that's fine...as you stated that's the nature of a forum...right?

Did I kill this fish?!?!?
We've all killed a fish at some point and time and its always accidental. I'm sure you've already learned ur lesson and will keep pliers from now. It sucks but it's in the past nothing you can do about it besides try and not let it happen again. U did what u felt was right in the moment. Seems hypocritical for anyone to throw shade on it unless said personcan say they've never made a bad decision. No one knows either if the fish will live or not.

Anyone Superstitious?
No superstitions for me. I'm OCD about keeping the boat clean and organized. Nothing takes my head out of it like the boat being all cluttered up

Bye Bye Fluoro
I've used fc line for years and have never had it fail. Yes I've broken line from time to time just like I did with mono. Everyone has their opinions but I feel fc is much more sensitive and I use it on everything except one rod with mono for topwaters and one with braid for frogs and buzz baits. If you were using good quality line I don't see this incident being the lines fault. I certainly don't agree that it has more memory than mono either. In my experience it's been just the opposite. I say use whatever line u have confidence in and don't try to convince everyone else to do what u do. If FC hasn't served u well by all means use what has. It has been excellent for me and everyone I fish with so we keep trucking with it

Hot Foot vs. hand throttle
Its all personal preference. I've owned both and honestly could care less. If it has one that's fine and if it doesnt that's fine as well.

What size keitech do you use?
X4

Shimano reels
I've owned and still own some of both. If you like ur daiwas ur not gaining anything by upgrading. I like the ergonomics of the shimanos better and breaking system of the daiwas better. I would have no problem using all shimano or all daiwa or all lews for that matter.
