Really like this braid too.

What’s your favorite…
Love the tightrope jig. Such a stout hook for a finesse jig.

Waiting for them to stock, as I want the 711 extra heavy for a flipping stick. Thanks for sharing.

Which knob style do you generally prefer on a spinning reel?
I love this grip too. Couldn't agree more.

6th sense plastics
I really like the clout for wacky rigging. It does have a different, somewhat still feel. But action is great on weighted wacky rig.

Latest Tackle Purchase Thread (Bait Monkey Victim Support Group)
Was really impressed with the Vanford. So smooth and casts at least 5 yards further than my other spinning reels. Drag has no issues at all. It actually took me a little while to get used to the extra distance. If you are thinking about one, don't hesitate. I will be getting another for ned rigs.

Daiwa Tatula LT or Shimano Stradic FL (spinning)? I'm torn on which to get.
No wrong choice here. Also consider the Shimano Vanford. Seems very good for finesse.

I will get mine on the water on Sunday. Will let you know how it goes. My first Shimano. It seems very solid from the feel.

Go to spinning reel brand. best value
Agree this reel is a great value. If you do not mind graphite, it is very solid. I keep finding myself reaching for it over reels double the price.

curado dc or tatula sv on doybns 734c??

Pleasantly surprised
I can also vouch for these rods. I have a few that I use for bank fishing. They have been on sale for $40 around the holidays. Steal at $70, ridiculous value at $40.

Best Daiwa Spinning Reel Under $100 ?
I really like my ss1300. Not super modern, but I love the old school feel. Reel is bulletproof. Drag is still my favorite.

New 6th Sense Axis Squarebill?
Just got mine in the last remaining colors. Not my first choice of color, but wanted to see the action. Taking out this week to test it. Some feedback was given on thread linked below. Tight Lines

Watermelon red senkos
I tend to think of watermelon as a bit lighter and more transparent in comparison to Yamamoto color standard. This color does work in many situations. However, I have a local quarry lake that is gin clear where the fish favor transparent colors. Baby bass color it is for that lake.

6th sense axis
Ordered 3 also. One of each available color. 6th Sense crush 50 is my favorite crankbait by far. Can't wait to try these.
