Occasionally feel Bass biting but I never catch any
If you are using a smartphone you can go to the Google play store and download the Image Shrink Lite app. It will allow you to share pics to the app and shrink the size so you can upload them on here. I use the app and it works great for me. Congratulations on catching you a bass. You did good in working your bait in different ways until you found what they wanted. Keep it up, it will only get better with practice. ?

Occasionally feel Bass biting but I never catch any
As soon as I feel the bite I point my rod tip down towards the bass reel in the slack and set the hook. I've also included a pic of a Texas rigged Ol' Monster that I have alot of success with. If they're not wanting plastic worms or swim baits you might try a jig with a Rage Bug or Craw for the trailer. Also if you can get away with a faster moving bait a chatterbait is a good one to use with a Rage Swimmer trailer. Good luck and yes hook sets are always free. ?

Late Fall - Early Winter Chunks
Nice chunky bass! Good job! I've been having a hard time locating the bass lately. Don't get to fish very often though, which certainly makes it even harder. Hopefully that'll change soon.

Latest Catch Pics Thread
Explanation of what @NCbassraider is referring to. Bass have a thin, protective slime coating over the whole of their bodies, shielding them from harmful bacteria and parasites. This slime coat gets removed through contact with hands, boat decks, grass and fish rags. In addition, boat decks are usually fairly hot and can actually burn the side of the fish. Many times the bass is not flopping because it's trying to get away, its flopping because its getting too hot.

Any video game players?
I don't play very often anymore. When I do play, on an XBOX 360, I like to play the Splinter Cell series by Tom Clancy and the Hitman series. Also MLB and Madden. I'd rather be fishing though.

How many here have caught a 10lb+ bass and in what state?
Haven't caught one that size yet. Not able to fish as often as I'd like to at the moment. I'll get me one eventually though, just need to get out there more than I can right now. I have been reading up on the strategy for catching them and watching videos too. Just waiting for the chances to try it out. I do know that they are not the easiest ones to catch. Lots of time and patience go into having success catching trophy size bass.

Post a photo a day!
Yeah probably so. Fortunately he told me there wasn't very many kids that visited him that day. Guess Fred's Pharmacy isn't the most popular Santa location for the kiddos...lol ?
