  1. All bait companies used to have their own version of this color. Always liked it myself and then for some reason it fell out of favor. Here in the Mid-South and Delta area stained is about the best you get, from there to "too thick to drink and too thin to plow" ... skillet
  2. Don't really see how that's a better mouse trap... skillet BTW I've been wrong before though
  3. Unless you're fishing ultra clear water, boat positioning and accuracy would be more important I think... skillet
  4. skillet replied to fisin green's topic in Introductions

  6. WELCOME ... skillet
  7. Have been telling myself sooner or later to try it on a BPS rod. Even with hands the size of mine, never liked the humps that they brag about... skillet
  8. Lost my dignity so many times that......well.....uuhh :-?. Just say that it doesn't bother me nearly as much as it used to ... skillet BTW have you ever noticed that when you get yourself in one of those dignity losing positions, the first thing you do is to look up to see if anyone was watching ;D
  9. NA, WHAT DO YOU MEAN "ALREADY".....HUH ;D? skillet
  10. Just wanted to add that I bought a pack of the Mag Super Flukes. Large enough that I had to use a baitcaster. It has all the GREAT moves of the Super Flukes. Just used it 1 time so far and have to admit no strikes :-[.....yet ... skillet

  17. I happened to look at mine just before I signed on. It is a World Wide Sportsman. The other great thing about it (for me) they come in TALL sizes. Gets old being taken for a plumber ... skillet
  18. That would be pretty memorable! Thanks for sharing ... skillet
  19. Yea! Could be responsible for "stringing my line" ... skillet
  20. Here in the Mid-South I think it does. Only in the coldest part of the winter do I give the water time to warm up some... skillet
  21. Glad you joined! WELCOME ... skillet
  22. Back years and years ago (40) my close-up vision started going. My wife's opthomologist told me to get "cheaters" and see if they would work. Thankfully they work so far with no headache. My problem is having to change from sun glasses to "cheaters" and back all the time. They do have sun glasses that have a window for close-up in the bottom. Guess that's the next step ... skillet BTW Don't have too much trouble with line guides but those eyes on the hooks get smaller and smaller and smaller ;D
  23. I was at BPS a week or so ago and bought a couple of packs. If it ever stops raining I'm gonna give 'em a try... skillet
  24. Don't fish much at night and but dark to black. Day time colors, usually natural. I have done well with a Spook jr that I got last year in a ghost pattern ... skillet
