Why copolymer/mono is the most versatile line
I have used SilverThreaf copolymer in the past with good results. I've got braid on a couple of rods, but don't plan on replacing it with braid when it's no longer serviceable. Good quality mono has done right by me since I was a kid, I'll soon be 62. I'm just going to stick with it.

The one lure fisherman
Years ago, I'm thinking late 80's possibly early 90's there was a guy that won a B.A.S.S. tournament. I can't remember his name, but It was in the series that the Opens replaced. I don't feel that he was a "traveling pro", more of a local that got picked. Anyway, he won by running up to the trailrace of Wilson Dam in Alabama catching smallies. The guy was fishing from a Bullet Bass Boat. He won the tournament throwing a smoke colored grub on spinning tackle. When they asked what else he used, he replied "nothing, all I carry is smoke colored grubs, some jig heads and two spinning rods." That has stuck with me all of these years. Sometimes I wish I had that kind of confidence!

Ever get very sick on a fishing trip?
I got one of the worst migraines I've ever had fishing on Percy Priest in Nashville one day. When I got home, I didn't even unload. Just went to bed.

Electronics help please
It was nuts, everything looks just alike! I'm used to fishing in the Knoxville/ east TN area. It's completely different down here in south Arkansas. Thanks for the recommendation, I'm going to check it out right now.

Cocktail drinkers...
I like a good bloody Mary occasionally. Other than that, I like scotch. The Macallan, straight or with one cube of ice.

Electronics help please
I've recently purchased a used 16' X 50" jon boat with a 40 h/p Tohatsu tiller. It's a pretty nice one, but the previous owner had some jack leg wire it and it's a mess! It has small Humminbirds at the front and back, however the back unit does not work. I'm going to rewire the whole thing. The rewiring will be time consuming, but no big deal. Here's where I need help. After getting somewhat lost in a cypress tree jungle, I want to add a gps/ depth finder at the tiller area. Is there an easy to use model available? Around $300.00, 5" to 7' screen with the ability to operate while the boat is on plane. I've used both Lowrance and Humminbird in the past, but have no problems with Garmin. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you

Mono for Crankbaits?
No florocarbon for me. For crankbaits, I use graphite composite rods and mono at all times.

Tackle box alternative
A milk crate works great to hold 360's or 370's.

Long rods and short boats
I used to have a Nitro 640 (16'). I did exactly what @Way2slow suggested. I pulled out the plate where the T/M connected and the front trim switch location. I used zip ties and moved all the wiring out of the way. At that time, the only rod socks available were nylon from BPS, but they worked ok. It worked pretty well.

Tackle warehouse processing time
I recently ordered from Tackle Warehouse. Everything was in stock and it took 3 1/2 weeks to get my order too. Very underwhelming. BPS/ Cabela's usually have my orders to me in a week. I'm going to check out Scheels, we don't have them where I live in the south.

Cabin Creek out of business?
I'm a Spider Parts fan too. I think I've got six or eight packs left. I'll need to check my Cabin Creek jig heads though. Cabela's used to carry Spider Parts in the Bristol, TN store

I'm a HUGE Tennessee Vols fan, currently in exile in Arkansas. I'm really proud of the diamond Vols and how the program has been turned around, sorry @Sam. Now, let's get Big Orange football headed in the right direction for a change! Good luck to all the SEC teams going to Omaha. GO VOLS!!!
