I own the 6'6" that your talking about. Its a good all around rod for anything but cranks. You could use it for them I wouldnt reccomend it though.

Its a Togiak and it says trout unlimited on the seat. And can you put any type of deck on a 14 foot tracker john boat? If so how much of the boat can you deck and how high can it safely be? Thanks

I had too much luck with one. I had a relatively new one get broken by a huge bass. I hit the same spot with a strike king pure poison about three weeks later and got my PB.

Ive been using a TD-S 7ft cranking/spinnerbait for DT-16s and such. Its fairly versatile, I threw spinners on it and caught 2 bass in the 7lb range. It is a little heavy though.

Ill bump it up to 4. The bass are terrible up there, an 18 incher is the biggest Ive ever landed but I hooked one a little bigger that broke off.

Ah, it should be fun. Im going to bring some ultralites and 2 dozen worms. Im thinking a rocket shad or something might do well for those giant shellcracker.

I went out two days consecutively and scraped 5 bass between 4 inches to 14. Ive not been able to find any postspawn females anywhere exept one that followed my swimbait in and it could have probably beaten my PB. The ones Ive caught were on a torpedo or jig. Where should I be if the water has been 66-72 and 68-71 degrees?

I had to wait a few more days than I expected but I got my learners today I got to drive my moms car on a 25mph place and drove my grandpas truck a few miles on the main road.
