Cool. Its nice to see someone else getting a Diawa. I own a number of them and they are amazing.

The sensitivity is amazing. A guy in the shop told me to put the tip of a 7'9" to his throat and you could feel his breathing.

I prefer a Strike King Pro Model. If you dont likt th rattle their others are good as well. As far as durability 90% of my 4lbers and up have been on one.

Since big cherry is my "home lake" I could show you some cool places or w/e. I dont fish BCL much but Id lke to try. WR has thos huge bass in it though...I like them all so idk.

Im glad you said its good, Ive got a phobia of buying crappy stuff. I plan on putting my Zillion on it. Its funny because they are both some of the most bang for your buck items on a previous post. Burley: Theyre trying to keep them in but so many people get them that they cant get a big enough amount at one time. I would have got it from them but Delos is faster. You can get them to special order one if you want though.

I just purchased a 7'0" carrot stick from Delo's. I got the 1/2oz to 2oz for heavy jigging and/or swimbaiting. I got to "play" with one at the bass shoppe and that sold me on it.

I used to use 12# trilene mono but recently switched to 15# flouro. I caught more big ones with the 12 but I switched to the 15 right when the bite turned off.

Im thinking it might have started when somebody made a post about members changing screen names too much and they couldnt figure out who anyone was. Ive been thinking about dropping the Y and adding that "le" to my name but then it would sound like some kind of disease.

Id fish with Burley as long as he doesnt pee on my my Diawas :. Hes probably one of the few people on here that I have a real chance at fishing with and he seems cool.

I was fishing in GA on Lake Seminole a year or two ago with freshly spooled 14# braid. Our guide told my mom and I we would be pitching stumps and suggested a watermelon color with a 3/16oz bullet weight. I tied on a 2/0 gammy regular gap and made a perfect cast to the biggest stump around. On the fall I feel "tick" so I slammed her and felt the biggest fish Ive ever had. My line dug into the spool on the hookset so I had no drag. Needless to say she got next to the boat, jumped, and left me with frayed line and a broken heart. The guide and I were nearly crying. He said it was EASILY double digit :'(. I think I get to go back in March so I may get another shot at her.

I fish for fu...a lot but once I get my license I plan on fishing competatively.

I was going to throw swimbaits in the 5 inch range and maybe some 3/4 oz deep divers. I didnt read the weight reccomendation on the L/T right or something, I was thinking it had about a 2oz max weight.

I caught one that I watched bite my torpedo prop and it got stuck, it was so small I held it up to he light saw its heart beating lol. Thats a cool looking fish you caught, Ive never seen that spot pattern before.

I dropped off all my reels today for maintenance. They got a ton of swimbaits in recently, Mattlures, Mission Fish, and some wierd brand that makes great looking baits.

Ive been thinking about getting a Diawa L/T Swimbait rod for my Zillion. Ive got two questions: 1. Would the Zillion be good for larger baits and 2. would it be a $ mismatch with the L/T rod because I could get a better one but I like Diawa.

Hmmm. I dont like Gulp, Yamamoto, Shakespear, Booyah, Stren line, and Yum. I know Booyah isnt too bad but I had a huge bass pull one of those stupid lever hooks off of a boogiebait the first or second trip with it.

Im loyal to the local bass fishing store. The guys there are great. I would rather give them my money than a big company (cough..BPS..cough) The customer support is great and they put an effort to know people on a personal level. I know its not the brand but its the brand provider and they help introduce me to great products I might not have tried.
