I use a Team Diawa-S 7 foot jig model. I cast 5/16 or 1/2 with it and it does great. It costs about $104.

Is there a small but heavy topwater out there? I like the tiny torpedo or the size up from it but they dont get a lot of distance. Any suggestions would be great, thanks.

Speaking of bait_monkey, I never even heard of him. Never. Ever. Then one day I saw this guy who had like 3 million posts, yet I'd never read a single one of them. Where are all of his posts. Is is just the baitmonkey messing with me? dude it was the same way with me. it was only a month or two when i found out about him and ive been here since june. i was just browin the tackle section and i saw a post by bait_Monkey and i was like oh clever name and i looked and he had 19000 some posts but id never seen a single one of them! If the bite is good Ill use a longer bait because the fish will get it down enough but if its a slow day you will be less likely to get short strikes with a short bait, jig, tube, etc

I got one as well and with it fully loaded I had to put it on the side opposite of the battery on my little boat. Today I used the 4600 trays and some other boxes and 3 small gaer bags and it worked great. If I had a larger boat it would be good but right now its way too bulky. BTW Ive also dumped the top part out ;D
