  1. I like a blackblue jig, its my confidence bait and it usually works yearround. A jointed shadrap is close too though.
  2. I caught her at Big Cherry Reservoir on High Knob mountain. It hit a Pure Poison on 25# braid in a log pile.
  3. Ive never purchased a senko and dont really think Im missing out. I like Tiki Sticks but I only fish them if Im after numbers, I never could get anything over 2 lbs with one...

  5. Recently I went to BPS with $230 and had planned to save some of it. I wound up having to borrow 20 from my mom that I paid back lol. :

This might sum up what hes doing lol
  8. I use a strike king 1/2oz black blue with a realistic looking craw, no clue what it is though for main lake points, creeks, etc. A 1/2oz War Eagle Watermelon/Orange/Pumpkin hand tied w/ a vibe trailor for heavy brush.
  9. I read a similar post and thought it was a good idea: I can get something for around $200 this year for christmas along with a vacation and I was wondering what I could use to help my fishing. Part of my predicament is that Ive got a rod that may or may not be replaced, depending if diawa finds a fault in my old L&T 7' jig rod that broke. If I can get the rod I want a nice reel for it, if not Ill get a decnt combo. Right now I have these: 7' TD-S w/ Viento Jigs 7' TD-S w/ Echolon Spinners/ chatterbaits 6'6" Quantum w/ cheapo reel Swimbaits 6'6" Diawa Custom w/ IDK small stuff 6'6" Procaster Combo stuff I was thinking a 6'6" TD-S crankin rod with a revo s or sx would be good but Im not sure. Any suggestions would be appreciated, thanks
  10. Ive got a viento that Ive had for ove a year with no problems. A local guy that fixes reels said the viento components were more solid than the megaforce but with about $130 difference...
  11. I second the Diawa S rod. I own 2 and they havent broken like my Light and Tough which cost more...
  12. It seems wierd fishing with one but after you get confidence with it its awsome.
  13. Sounds like you had a good time. 8 for 8 is pretty amazing

I catch alot with a jig, deep cranks, slowrollin a spinnerbait, and using a lift drop retrieve with a chatterbait.
  15. VA Tech won and Tennessee lost
  16. I used to watch it too until the show design got so cheesy that it was blah.
  17. Its about 300 acres, 40 feet deep max, and right now its about 22 feet. What all places do you think look good? Btw you cant get a boat all the way through the long channel thing into the other lake, the previous dam is still there
  18. The point that you can see underwater looks exactly like what Ive been fishing. Id try a jig on it.

  20. Anybody watch Country Fried Home Videos?
  21. It souds like you tried a lot already so maybe try something wierd. Chatter baits, weightless craw , creatures, etc. They work for me if the usual cranks, worms, and jigs wont do it.
  22. Its one of those things that you get what you pay for. You probably could get a very detailed one but it would be mucho $$$
  23. Now, that's funny! ;D ;D ;D It's not funny, it's true! ;D ;D ;D Honestly there are very few, and I use a bassmaster thing that has numbers 1-18 on it ;D
