me too, it's hard reading/watching/listening to this board for 1/2 the year when the ice is hard or I can't target bass. It's the law, there's only 1 zone in Ontario where bass is open all year.

I quit every November 30th and pick it back up the 4th Saturday in June.

I would add a glide swimbait to that collection of search baits, I also like casting a walking bait.

I've got 2 in the top 5 - Zaldain and Combs. Looks like Chris couldn't keep up the pace.

My BIL caught a 40" Northern on a 1/2oz Dark Sleeper in Shiaruo (white/chartreuse) and I caught this little football roughly 10 minutes later on a 1oz in Wakasagi; both dragging and hopping on bottom. They catch more than just fisherman.

Hopefully I won't need it [fingers crossed]. Looks like Crews and Cobbs are in the top 5. Didn't realize that Bassmaster live streams on their website.

I wish I could watch, lots of big girls up shallow. 98lb,3oz might be way too low for a tie breaker.

Bait monkey delivered most of my Amazon order 2 days early, still waiting on a Popmax and Dog-X Jr. I've heard enough from Tactical Bassin, so I got me a swaver in lite trout, a jackall giron, some zman finesse Jigs and slim swimz. I rolled the dice on these Bill Lewis Echos, no one talks about them but they come with quality hardware.

I had a SG 5" Shine Glide break off mid cast, I went snorkeling for it a week later when the water warmed up, still couldn't retrieve it. I did find a musky bait while I was in 12 feet of water, looked like the pic below, but it was wooden and about 90% of the paint was gone. d**n thing was still attached to the thickest fluoro leader I've ever seen:

We got pike opening this weekend, so I need to get my tackle in order. Bought some baits on Amazon anD hit up my local Cabela's for the rest. Finally got my terminal tackle out of a double sided stowaway and into a full 3700. I was looking for a Plano 3771, but opted to wait it out and use an old Flambeau that has a ton of dividers. Jammed all my topwater and hard swimbaits into that Plano Deep. Obligatory pics from Cabela's haul

I agree 100% and I never said I was perfect at casting. I just don't cast directly at docks/boats/pontoons cause I'd rather not have to board one to free a lure.

Beauty haul! I guess the Dark "Sleeper" is outta the bag and sold out everywhere. I just order my 1st popmax last night in GG Chart Back Bass and a Dog-X Jr. in White Butterfly. I was thinking of getting the pop x in white python, but it was more expensive than the JDM colour I got. I took @J Francho 's tip from another thread and got a colour i can see from a distance, if it's gone.. set the hook.
