I use a 16 ci4 3000 I like fishing floro no leaders the deeper spool makes for easier line management. Maybe the 2500 would be the exact same thing I don’t know and I really don’t care at this point ??‍♂️ it’s light feels good in my hand it’s not a huge reel. I’m happy with it.

Well don’t worry about that because they are not tip heavy. You can put any reel you want on a Powell endurance and it will not be tip heavy.

From my understanding Yamamoto will not fish with bait casters and you don’t have to fish them but if you don’t learn how will you ever know if it will benefit you and maybe help you become a better angler?

Kinda pushing it with a 5xD and a medium rod if you ask me the deeper you go the more resistance you get from the lure your throwing that’s something you have to keep in mind.

I have 15 pound line on my spinner bait chatter bait rod I don’t go lower than that for theses applications unless I’m fishing small spinner baits like pond Magic’s or war eagle fineness spinner baits. In other words 3/16 to 5/16, 12 pound line will do it.

No you can’t fish a lipless crank in every situation “lipless cranks do we really need anything else?” Yes we do. I went threw a stage where I was having a lot of success with lipless cranks and started buying all different styles of lipless cranks all colors of the aruko shads and red eye shads plenty of super spots but I quickly realized that i was wasting a lot of money on a bait that I couldn’t use in every situation. It’s good to master a lure like a lipless but to suggest that’s all you need we’ll thats just absurd.

The best flutter on the fall is the red eye shad but is a more aggressive fall than the super spot res is more effective during the spring and spawn and prespawn but as soon as the fish become less aggressive like the dog days of summer or in cold water winter the super spot is more affective because of its buoyancy and less aggressive rattle. My favorite lipless is without a doubt the super spot.
