Lures you DON'T use?
Large collection of spinnerbaits, only two have been used. Same story with lucky Craft Pointers and they are my favorite lures! Fished a Rogue last weekend for the first time in several years. A variety of lipless brands and colors, but the Xr50 Blue Chrome/ Orange is the one that gets used. Don't remember the last time I fished a Spook. At least twenty pounds of soft plastics, but when I should be fishing them I end up throwing a jig. 75%, maybe 95% of my stuff doesn't get fished, but it's ready!

looking for an opinion on reels
Spinning: Shimano Stradic 2500FI Baitcasting: Shimano Curado 200 E7 Both reels can be bought at a significant discount to MSRP if you are patient and shop around. I bought a Curado from our Flea Market a couple of weeks ago for $150. five.bass.limit has a deal right now on the Stradic 2500MG for $100 off list price. Good luck and welcome aboard!

Jury Duty tomorrow
Yeah, some editing...Take it somewhere else... Regarding jury duty, tell them the truth: Anyone the police arrest and the prosecutor is willing to take to trial is guilty beyond reasonable doubt. I favor hanging, but electrocution is fine as long as I get to watch. You will be back to work in no time. 8-)

Line Conditioners
Well now, I can only assume that the negative comments are from guys that have never actually used KVD Line & Lure Conditioner. EVERYONE I know that has ever tried it, loves it! I have been using the conditioner for more than two years and HIGHLY recommend this product to you. 8-)

Line Conditioners
Here you go: http://www.lineandlure.com/freshwater/ KVD Line & Lure Conditioner lives up to EVERY claim. The most important attribute, at least for me, is reducing line memory. 8-)

Do you care what you look like when your out fishing?
Maybe it's something people think about even if they don't want to admit they care, at least a little. I guess I don't understand why anyone wouldn't have "fishing clothes". They are no more expensive than jeans and a shirt and much cheaper than hunting attire. Plus, most of my "casual clothes" are also fishing outfits! 8-)

Is the USPS really that useless?
Well, I guess I have been one of the Lucky One's. Generally, I use USPS with complete satisfaction: best price; friendly, courteous service; on time and no damage. Although more expensive, I have had the same experience with both UPS and Federal Express- no issues. 8-)

What is the smoothest line for long casting?
I don't think so...Line diameter effects the weight and wind resistance in some cases, but casting distance is more a function of rod and reel compatibility with the lure being used. Heavier lures will "load" a heavier rod. To get maximum distance from light lures, a softer tip is helpful. I have great range casting a 1/2 oz XCalibur Xr50 on a St. Croix Avid AVC70MM/ Shimano Metanium spooled with #12 Yo-Zuri Hybrid. This same rig works for original Floating Rapalas and other light lures, too. 8-)

What do you consider most important?
Rick Clunn has a similar take: "Catching bass is easy, the challenge is finding them." 8-)

Mr. Yo-Zuri Tries Braid
Gotta have a leader to break-off. The Yo-Zuri (Smoke) is a perfect match with stained water. I don't have any opinion on Power Pro, I really bought it because it matches up nicely with my BCR854 and new Curado. It's "pretty!" Chris Fish uses a Blood Knot, so I'm just following his lead. Maybe I'll try another brand if I buy some more, but this is a giant leap for me. When I was fishing Spiderwire before, I had just started chasing stripers on the Tennessee River. Braid is EXTREMELY dangerous for that type of fishing. I have stayed clear since.

Senko Magic
Anyone that would "take a pass" on 7 & 8lb bass has no business fishing a Senko. The only soft plastic that might be interesting for you, Fish Chris, is the Rage Tail 10" Anaconda. 8-)

Mr. Yo-Zuri Tries Braid
Well now, I fished Spiderwire years ago and learned all about the "issues" with braid. However, a Fish Chris post on sensitivity has piqued my interest in giving braid another try. This time I'm focused on my jig rig only. 50/12 Power Pro with #12 Yo-Zuri Hybrid leader. 8-)
