  1. The Rat-L-Trap, Fat Free Shad and DD22 can all be fished at that depth. 8-)
  2. This is working for me right now: http://www.bassresource.com/bass_fishing_forums/YaBB.pl?num=1180909581 8-)
  3. :-/ Well, shoot...I don't get to vote! :
  4. I would send it to the The Reel Mechanic or find another authorized service center and have it checked out. 8-)
  5. Hmm... I have been fishing GYCB products since 1997, including a "few" bags of Fat Ika. I have never come across a single defective item. I have always assumed their quality control procedures were responsible for this, it would be impossible to manufacture any product 100% flawless. 8-)
  6. This might help: http://www.bassresource.com/bass_fishing_forums/YaBB.pl?num=1158577137 8-)
  7. Wow! Missed this one... Back to the original question, the various formulas provide a pretty accurate "estimate" for the weight of a bass. If you want to be "precise", buy a scale. Regarding protocol, Jimzee summed it up: Look Teenie Bopper, we don't type in abbreviations on this board. Please don't butcher the English Language. As far as the smarter bit, why don't you show it and type in complete sentences. The State of Rhode Island or any of it's inhabitants has nothing to do with this discussion. Tin is a well respected member of this board who was pulling your chain. Please refrain from the insults or I will be forced to release the hounds on you. Believe me, you don't want the hounds released!! :
  8. Welcome aboard! 8-)
  9. I hear it outfishes live bait 4:1 and may be banned for tournament fishing! :
  10. Unpainted are fine, but if color makes you feel better it doesn't hurt a thing. Buy them ready to go or paint them with nail polish if you're looking for something simple. 8-)
  11. Nope, not me, but you definitely need a break. It's suppose to be fun. When it's not, do something else. 8-)
  12. Excellent post! Nice fish, too. 8-)
  13. Be patient and buy something from the "Flea Market". We have great deals pop up all of the time. 8-)
  14. We're gonna need another wagon for the band, this one's almost full! Nice fish, great pic! 8-)
  15. Low Budget no more... 8-)
  16. Start by reading through "Fishing Articles" at the top of the pages. Inside the the heading you'll find "For Beginning Anglers" which will help a lot. Good luck and welcome aboard! 8-)
  17. Congratulations! Nice catch. 8-)
  18. No, you misread the post. I said moving baits and topwater specifically do not need a leader. When fishing "finesse presentations" I believe line visibility is important. That's when I would recommend a leader. On the otherhand, since I don't use braid, you should probably rely on someone else's advice. 8-)
  19. Silly... That's great if you don't need brakes, but the technology allows about 90% of baitcast users to fish this style of gear! 8-)
  20. WOW! That rocks! 8-)
  21. You might want to use a leader for finesse presentations, some guys (like me) think line visibility is an issue. However, with "moving lures" and especially frogs over or through vegatation, visibility is not a concern. 8-)
  22. This might help: http://www.bassresource.com/bass_fishing_forums/YaBB.pl?num=1180909581 Good luck! 8-)
