  1. "Blue Fleck" is Rage Tail "purple". Watermelon/ Black Flake, Green Pumpkin and Green Pumpkin/ Red Flake seem like staples everywhere.

  5. Time to find some new water. 2-3 lb bass in Texas just don't cut it.
  6. Hmm... I prefer A-Jay's videos.

  8. You saw the fish and then "quick release". I think you can count that as a catch.
  9. This is your BEST video!

  11. January has been exceptional for me. I STRONGLY recommend fishing at least one day with a guide on Lake ToHo. You can catch fish on artificials, but for size I suggest golden shiners. This year ghoti and I caught 24 bass on 48 baits. All were over 5 lbs, our best was 9.63 and we lost 5 MONSTERS! We ran out of bait at 11:00. The cost with tip and bait was $300 a piece.
  12. Well, if you are fishing in the right places, you need replacement jigs. One and done is "standard operating procedure", but I have gone four for four on occasion, too. In a boat you can generally recover 75% or so fishing rocks, but only 50% or less around wood. The percentages on the Tennessee River are considerably lower.
  13. Change out your fluorocarbon with monofilament. This rig can be used for all treble hook techniques: topwater, jerkbaits and crankbaits. I prefer #11 Sunline Shooter Defier Armilo.
