Fluorocarbon is not going to be as sensitive as braid for moving presentations, but it has other attributes: abrasion resistance and it is practically invisible. Most importantly, for bottom contact (jigs and soft plastics) the bowing is reduced significantly compared to braid. I always use a fluorocarbon leader with braid. Tatsu is my favorite fluoro, but I also like AbrazX for baitcasters and InvizX for spinning gear.

Vanish is probably the worst fluorocarbon on the market.
