  2. Looks like a nice addition for the tool box!
  3. Hmm... Braid lasts a lifetime. I only change it out when I want to try something new.
  4. I agree, but start with YOUR favorite color, it will probably work just fine.
  5. Favorite: Megabass Ito Vision 110 Most productive: 5" Senko Close 2nd for both "favorite" and "productive" Siebert jig/ Rage Tail Craw trailer
  6. Another HUGE advantage for boaters is lure recovery. I very rarely lose a lure. This aspect also eliminates the fear of casting into the muck. There are a lot of big bass that stage in the middle of a brush pile that rarely see a lure.
  7. Braided line is a TERRIBLE choice for new anglers. Braid can be VERY dangerous. I suggest something simple like #8 Trilene for spinning tackle and #10 XL for baitcasting,
  8. Switch up occasionally with a Fat Ika.
  9. A lot of guys on this forum, including me, have caught our biggest bass on hot, bright sunny days between 10:00 AM and 2:00 PM. The smallmouth in my avatar were caught at 11:30 and 1:00.
  10. It's not only about catching fish, for many just the "collecting" is as much fun. As a specific example, I like jerkbaits, especially Megabass Ito Vision 110. I have been buying a couple a year ever since they were first introduced. I may have fished five, but that could be an exaggeration!
  11. Worm: Weightless: Senko Weighted: Rage Tail Thumper jig trailer: Rage Tail Craw Soft swimbait: Rage Tail Swimmer Creature: Rage Tail Space Monkey swimjig trailer: Rage Tail Shell Cracker beaver type bait: Rage Tail Structure Bug Fluke: GYCB D-Shad Topwater: LC Sammy
  12. Good night Irene.
  13. I especially like the color "Blue Fleck" which is actually purple.
  14. Seaguar Red Label is an excellent choice for inexpensive fluorocarbon leader.
  15. Single hooks: MF or MHF/ 6:4 or faster reel Treb le hooks: Medium Heavy Moderate/ something less than 6:0
  16. WOO-HOO!
