  1. Geez... I hope the meds work and surgery is not required. Be well my friend!
  2. WTI $43.27
  3. Welcome aboard!
  4. Well, it's today and I wish everyone the best of luck!
  5. Probably where the mule died a few generations ago.
  6. That could probably be said of any brand. More generally, a lot of guys that have tried Vanish think it lives up to its name "vanish".
  7. Well, as you experiment with different lines you will find SIGNIFICANT differences. The decision(s) come down to personal prefwerence for the most part. For all-around use Yo-Zuri Hybrid is pretty popular among many of our members. Seaguar makes superior fluorocarbon lines including InvizX, AbrazX and Tatsu.
  8. All great suggestions and I will add another for your consideration: PR844C is my dedicated topwater rod, but it could handle double-duty as another crankbait rod for medium weight lures.
  9. Starting out with tackle that performs "as promised" is a great confidence builder. The Lucky Craft Pointer is an excellent jerkbait.
  10. Try a couple of different heads to find the best fit for your type of fishing.. Right now I am experimenting with the Siebert Grid Iron and have been impressed! http://www.siebertoutdoors.com/Grid-Iron-Jig_c28.htm
  11. The MegaStrike Cavitron will be red hot in the coming weeks!
  12. Last year my #1 "New To Me" was a white Chatterbait or Rage Blade with a white Rage Structure Bug trailer. I am looking forward to giving the Zman Diesel Minnowz a try as well.
  13. My new favorite is the Siebert Outdoors Grid Iron Football Head: http://www.siebertoutdoors.com/Grid-Iron-Football-Jig-471.htm
  14. 11:45 AM CDT $45.01
  15. I see no reason to commit to one line for everything. If you just want all-around, high quality, inexpensive line it is hard to beat Yo-Zuri Hybrid. Try fluoro on a couple of rigs, maybe Seaguar InvizX for spinning tackle and AbrazX for baitcasting. Braid? Tie a rig up with TUF-Line Tournament 8 or Seaguar Countdown and fish it direct tie. On another rig or at another time add a fluorocarbon leader. Experiment and have some fun! The leader can be one of the fluorcarbons mentioned or try Red Label. One more suggestion is monofilament for treble hook lures. I have been fishing the Sunline Super Natural, but will be swiching to Sunline Deifer Armilo based on recommendations from several highly regarded Forum members.
  16. A blast from the past! Good to see you back in the saddle Mr. CJ.
  17. See a doctor. There are a number of new treatments that may allow you to live pain free and arrest the progression of the disease. Doing nothing won't help, but that is probably better than self-treatment based on internet chatter.
  18. HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
  19. WTI $46.10 The lowest local prices are still stuck at $1.99, but there is a lot pressure building on that number. If oil breaks below $46 the entire country should get some relief.
  20. Well, the Hybrid is always on sale somewhere. A quick Google and the first thing that pops up is 275 yards for $5.99. Another site is offering 600 yard spools for $7.99.
  21. I don't think you will notice much difference. Give the Yo-Zuri a try, it's an inexpensive experiment.
