  3. The Rig is easy to recover with a lure retriever, I have only lost a couple in heavy current. I fish this presentation almost exclusively over deep structure in what might be considered "open water". The presentation can be near the bottom, but not dragged on the floor.
  4. I have a new job as a manager in the fishing department at the Bass Pro Shops Pyramid in Memphis. This will be the largest outdoors store in the world. Our Grand Opening is Friday, May 1st. Being a part of building the new store has been fun. https://vimeo.com/bassprovideo/review/119460678/63245d0b7d
  5. Welcome aboard!
  6. Thumper is my favorite for ledge fishing. The Cut-R has been one of my most productive Rage Tail baits. Give this a try as a trailer on a skirtless Rage Blade, too.
  7. 3/8 or 1/2 oz MegaStrike Strikeback, white skirt, double willow silver blades http://www.megastrik...innerbait/c21j3 3/8 or 1/2 oz Siebert Outdoors Cosmic, white, double willow silver blades http://www.siebertou...nerbaits_c9.htm Fish them on a MHF baitcaster and 12 lb fluorocarbon, Seaguar AbrazX. This is a universal lure that may be used in almost any situation. I generally fish spinnerbaits in shallow water <8', especially along grass lines and in stump fields.
  8. BPS Tender Tube #71. This has been killer on Pickwick.
  9. That is a great reference. I am anxious to get my hands on the new E6X.

  11. A 5" Senko is definitely not too big and the Fat Ika is the equivilent of a Twinkie to fish! Give them a try, I don't think you will be disappointed. -Kent

  15. The Megabass Ito Vision 110 is probably my favorite lure. I have been collecting a couple every year for a long time. I have fished a few hard for many years, but most of my collection has only been wet once. The 110 is a work of art and an effective lure, but I do just as well with Lucky Craft, McStick, Rapala X-Rap and Smithwick Perfect 10 Rogue.
  16. We DO NOT CONDONE any illegal activity. Get permission first or stay out.
  17. BPS will price match brick & mortar stores within a 200 mile radius. They do not match internet quotes. The Curado I would be an excellent choice!
  18. The Zebco Omega is a durable reel with good features in its class.
  19. Try the Roadwarrior, I think you will like it.
  20. A place for everything and everything in its place. I care about color, contrast and coordination. That would include not just the rod and reel, but covers, carrying case and especially the color of my line. I like my boots polished, my pants pressed and heavy starch in my shirts, too!
