  5. Why would you want to downgrade?
  6. I have had the best luck with the Jika Rig with The Bug by itself, but try it as a trailer for your Rage Blades or Chatterbaits and see what you think. This was my #1 presentation in 2014.
  7. The Rage Tail Structure Bug incorporates the patented ridge which produces a unique vibration from water displacement.
  8. Hmm... There is only one "Senko" and lot's of wannabes.

  13. I am having that rod built by Batson: Blank: Eternity Reel seat: Toray Guides: Alps Titanium The rod will be designed as an upgraded NRX 893. The only modification I am doing is a spiral wrap. Maybe Batson will respond with a more accurate number on this thread, but I think the cost will come in under $500.
  14. Well, my journey has taken me in a new direction. My collection has been built slowly for nearly eighteen years. I am in the process of selling some of my best equipment that just doesn't get fished enough. The new phase is building a stable of custom rods and new "enthusiast" reels. Alpster crafted a spiral wrapped deep cranking rod using the Lamiglas SR705R blank. Mike at DVT built a "Senko Rod" for me last year and I have a clasic under constuction with Batson. The Alpster is matched with a CTE200GT, but may need an upgrade to the Conquest. The DVT is saddled with a Stella and will be left alone. The new Batson NEEDS an Aldebaran! I'm keeping a G. Loomis MBR 842C/ Core 50MG, St. Croix LES70MF/ Stella 2500, G. Loomis MBR844C/ CTE100GT, G. Loomis BCR854/ Curado 200E, two Pinnacles and an Okuma for now. I expect to move from twenty rigs down to eight and add something new maybe once a year. There is a current thread running in the Flea Market originated by a member looking for a bulk deal. If that doesn't go through this gear will be reoffered to everyone. Take a look and see if there is anything you might be interested in owning. http://www.bassresource.com/bass-fishing-forums/topic/157770-looking-to-do-a-bulk-purchase-of-rods-and-equipment/
