The rod is designated Jerk/ Crank and I will be fishing it for both categories. The action is Moderate, but quite responsive, ideal for working a jerkbait fast or slow. At the $100 pricing point the Cerros is impressive. Smooth and solid are my initial thoughts. I am anxious to see how this reel performs over time, but right out of the box it is just great! Casting distance is excellent, retrieve is smooth and quiet. Although I have not really stessed the drag yet, I feel like the design is good. After fishing the rig for a few months I will update this review.
