  1. Reminds me of my Italian in-laws. They kept the plastic on lamp shades! Ridiculous.
  2. I appreciate all the helpful advice, but I don't trust ME working on my reels. Mike does a GREAT job at a very reasonable price. My last service was two Curados supertuned. These babies came back PERFECT!
  3. Dude... YOU ROCK!

  7. Add another bait to your collection: Rage Tail Eliminator is THE BOMB! This and the Rage Lizard are about all I ever use on a C-rig anymore.
  8. Congratulations!
  9. Just acquirerd a few lures to try. They look great and appear to be VERY well made. I will post a detailed review after fishing them for awhile. Hope to get them out today!
  10. Oops! DEFINITELY a beaver bait. I guess I had something else in mind.
  11. Rage Tail Menace & Shellcracker plus the GYCB Swimming Senko (back half)

  13. I'm sure we will need to revisit this topic down the road, we always do. Good night Irene. -Kent a.k.a. roadwarrior Global Moderator
  14. VERY nice lures, each is a work of art.
  15. I fished a charity tournament a few weeks ago. The winning pattern was fishing jerkbaits, lipless crankbaits and The Rig below Wheeler Dam (Wilson Lake). My partner and I fished some of his best spots, but without current all we caught were 2 - 2 1/2 lb cookie cutters.
  16. I think so, too. Good night Irene. -Kent a.k.a. roadwarrior Global Moderator
  17. Of special note: Traditional jigs: Rage Tail Baby Craw, Craw & Lobster Swim jigs: Rage Tail Menace & Shellcracker
  18. We already have this running on page 1 of this section.
  19. Team Depends vs Team Pampers We always win!
  20. I would go a little heavier and softer. Heavier because bird nests are easier to work with and softer because the line is more manageable. #17 Sunline Super Natural is a great line and inexpensive. If that's not easily attainable, Trilene XL would be my next suggestion. Put all brakes on and the spool tension tight to begin. Another suggestion would be to practice with a 1/2 oz lead weight. Work on accuracy, not distance.Rotate your wrist during the cast so that the handle is up when the cast is complete.
  21. I prefer a big splash, loud music and good conversation. Maybe it attracts the big mommas and scares the little bucks away? Don't forget, "Girls just want to have fun!"
  22. If they were supposed to be ranked in order, this list is just plain silly. Regionally, Guntersville has been #1 lfor a long time, but Pickwick has taken over the past three years or so. Kentucky Lake would be a distant third. Bull Shoals is a beautiful lake, but not a great lake for bass. Same goes for Grand Lake, Quachita and Lake Of The Ozarks.
  23. If properly stored, virtually forever.
