This is an example of why I like the Bowl format. The best teams in each conference are matched up for the finale. Then we can spend the rest of the year agruing over who should be ranked where. I think a lot of fans around the country are going to be VERY disappointed next year watching nothing but SEC teams in the finals. Bama v. OU, Georgia v. Nebraska, Michigan v. Stanford and Mizzou v. OSU are a lot more fun for me. There will always be a few teams in other conferences competing for the #1 ranking, but it's pretty obvious that the SEC represents the top tier in college football. In the bowl system Nebraska puts a whoopin' on Georgia and Oklahoma beats The Tide. Will those kind of match-ups happen in next year's play-offs? I don't think so.

I was at the store in Lincoln when they first opened. I have never seen such an impressive array of high end shotguns on display or for sale.I ended up buying a pair of kangaroo leather boots. These were PERFECT new, no break-in period required. The skin was extraordinarily tough and lasted me 7-8 years.As I recall the msrp was around $300, on sale for $85!

This is great practical advice! I would tweak it just a smigin and use 1/2 oz weight to start with.

This is my theory on "uncatchable" bass: The reservoirs of the Tennessee River have produced more double digit bass in the last two years than the total of 10+ EVER caught. Three friends, including the manager of our local BPS, all caught a DD in one day two years ago! It's not magic, it's the Alabama Rig. Nothing can resist a school of bait swimming in front of them, One mystery still remains: Why is The Rig so much less effective in the summer?

I'm a little surprised at all the "they're the best" at this or that. If either team were so great they would not be playing this weekend. I expect a little more from my favorite commentators. The best players are warm and toasty, sipping on a brew and eating pizza!
