What Soft Plastics Are You Throwing On A Baitcaster?
When you rig a Fat Ika skirt forward the tentacles flare back over the body when the bait is moved forward. As it drops on slack line the skirt flutters up and the lure falls away from you, like under a dock for example. Thanks to a suggestion by Raul, I never fish the Fat Ika any other way.

Jigs With A Secondary/trailer Hook
Bad idea anyhow. Jigs find new homes without help. A trailer hook is a recipe for disaster.

Bait (Soft Plastics)
I fish mostly Rage Tail. Here is a taste of the multitude of colors available: http://www.ragetail....olor-selection/ For creature baits take a look at the MegaStrike MegaBug: http://www.megastrik...g-soft-plastic/ And now that you are a BassResource member, you get a peak at the Magic Bait:

Strike King Rage Thumper Worms
I fish the Thumper and the Anaconda in both the 10" and 7" version. Last summer several friends and I enjoyed a HUGE bite on the ledges at Pickwick. My favorite colors are Blue Fleck and Red Shad, but there are many to choose from: http://www.ragetail.com/news/color-charts/rage-thumper-color-selection/

What Soft Plastics Are You Throwing On A Baitcaster?
I prefer a spinning rig for everything weightless; a baitcaster for weighted baits.

- What Do You Use? No Brands!
NO... We all have gotten rid of our junk over the years. We still buy a lot of stuff we never use. Save you money and buy specific lures and specific brands that you will be comfortable with over time. Don't get in a hurry, buy a few lures/baits for different deeps in the water column, "moving" lures vs. bottom contact. Specific brands and specific lures are critical. There are just too many options to choose from. Here is a thread to get you started: http://www.bassresou...-tackle-advice/- Favorite Flipping Baits?
