  1. It seems to me that bugs are more active when it's warm. That would stimulate the food chain and make bass more active.
  2. I had the pleasure of fishing with Big O on the Roadtrip in 2011. Here are a few things I noticed right away: 1. Big O has plenty of rod & reel combinations, but they are all the same! 2. I don't believe he actually owns a hard bait. 3. Some people think "color" is not very important, but Big O thinks it is and carries all Rage Tail offers plus some experimental tones. 4. And speaking of "experimental", we got to fish a few prototypes, too. One was the Menance.
  3. When not viewing the site, BassResource.com is ALWAYS minimized on your screen!
  4. Fantastic story...You da MAN!
  5. I would be interested in some original Lazy Ikes if they happen to be in your deal and you are willing to sell them.
  6. Not just great, but maybe his best! Thank you Mr. Barone.
  7. http://www.siebertoutdoors.com/ Go to the website and look around. There are many styles and options.

  9. Buy your beads at Hobby Lobby or other craft stores. They are almost free!
  10. OMG! Dream trip. :jaw-drop:
  11. Trailers: Rage Tail Menance & Single Tail Grub; LFT Live Magic Shad and Keitech Swing Impact Fat. My equipment: G. Loomis MBR842C/ Core 50MG/ #12 Yo-Zuri Hybrid. Retrieve: Steady at a variety of depths on, over or around structure and cover.
  12. On the Tennessee River, we expect all smallmouth bass under 12 pounds to be released.
  13. There is an Avid AVS68MXF offered in our Flea Market for $130. If you are in the market for a great spinning rod you should jump on this deal!
  14. I guess I got carried away. Thanks!
  15. On two consecutive Saturdays in January 2005 I caught the two fish in my avatar and the fish pictured in this article: http://www.bassresource.com/fishing/smallmouth_record.html My best fish was the one that got away: http://forums.basspro.com/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic;f=2;t=026926
  16. My questions: 1. Do you use a trailer: never, sometimes or always? 2. Do you use a stinger hook: never, sometimes or always? 3. How do you trim shirts or do you not? 4. What is the reason for choosing white, chartreuse or a combination of the two? 5. Give of some guidelines on different blades. 6. And finally, which weight for what situations? Bonus Question: Tips on presentations?
  17. Maybe it's time to try something else. For spinning tackle I recommend Yo-Zuri Hybrid #6 (11.9 lb breaking strength).
  18. I don't know, but Big O says it makes a difference so I paint all of mine. Forrest green spray paint then random splashes of black nail polish. No matter if it is really necessary, the weights look cool!
  19. Woo-Hoo!
  20. Just received these from Siebert Outdoors: Cosmic Spinnerbait: http://www.siebertoutdoors.com/index.php/cosmic-spinnerbait
  21. Geez...That's enough. Edited and closed. Good night Irene. -Kent a.k.a. roadwarrior Global Moderator
