  1. Well, the question pops up nearly every week. The answer doesn't change.
  2. For enthusiasts, technique specific gear is fun to collect. However, three rigs cover all the basics: #1 6 1/2' or 7' MH baitcaster for jigs, some soft plastics and spinnerbaits #2 6 1/2' or 7' MM baitcaster for treble hook lures #3 7' MF spinning rod for lighter lures and a variety of techniques
  3. PopMax, Cavitron, Sammy and Rage Shad
  4. Congratulations!
  5. I agree! More specifically, Rage Tail Thumper, Rage Hawg and GMAN Big O Mata Jig/ Lobster.
  6. Gladiators...Real people are not that big, that strong or that fast. The only thing they have in common with the rest of us is the STUPID gene. It's fed by fame and fortune.
  7. There are a couple of Citicia offered at a good price on our Flea Market. http://www.bassresource.com/bass-fishing-forums/topic/104985-shimano-citica-200e-w-boca-os-7s/#entry1147974 I would get the first one with Boca bearings if it is still availble.
  8. Both Rage Tail and Pinnacle expanded offerings.
  9. Japanese for "squid". If you look at it in that context, not so ugly.
  10. You can use any reel and any line you like on that rod. As already stated, the rod is best suited for treble hook lures. Next purchase should be a 7' M/F for single hook lures.
  11. Those are some fine fish! Great pics, too!
  12. Snag Proof and Rage Tail Toad
  13. Rage Hawg http://www.bassresource.com/bass-fishing-forums/topic/104531-we-just-want-to-be-like-big-o/
  14. Find the baitfish and smallmouth will be near by. The key is not the lure, but the depth. If you find bait in <12' of water, the Fat Ika will be killer. At any depth, Swarming Hornet/ LFT Live Magic Shad. Other suggestions are: flutter spoons, Wiggle Warts, Bandits, DD22, Rage Tail Baby Craw and 3/8 oz jig/ Rage Tail Craw.
  15. Then "sand" it down with Mr. Clean Magic Eraser
  16. Here's some more from ICAST 2012: http://www.bassresource.com/bass-fishing-videos/pinnacle-rods-reels-2012.html
  17. Enough of this silliness. If you need some advice on industrial construction, contact unionman. For medical advise, consult a doctor. This thread is closed. -Kent a.k.a. roadwarrior Global Moderator
  18. All I want is a bait/lure that catches fish...PERIOD!
  19. 00 mod has their spinning rod...OUTSTANDING!
  20. I use thin wire Gammie 4/0 EWG Offset Worm Hooks with #6 Yo-Zuri on spinning gear.
  21. Some of you know I kinda like Shimano, G. Loomis and St. Croix. So, it might come as a surprise just how impressed I am with the new Pinnacle line of both rods and reels: http://www.bassresource.com/fishing_lures/pinnacle-optimus-xlt-dhc-review.html Consider giving them a try!

  23. How long have you been practicing medicine? Tetanus is a very serious infection: http://www.cdc.gov/vaccines/vpd-vac/tetanus/
  24. I was hoping the Megastrike logo would reappear in the sponsor's column.
