  1. Dead solid perfect!
  2. Like Raul and others, I like collecting lures, but I don't actually fish many of them. A couple of lures I have fished fit the theme of this thread. Specifically, a LC LV500 Chartreuse Shad and Spro BBZ. The LV500 is a favorite of mine, but this particular lure just doesn't get bit...I gave it away. I have fished the BBZ more than ten hours in a variety of situations without every getting a single strike! In terms of "lure classes", spinnerbaits are probably my worst performers. My collection is large and includes lures from current and past sponsors. Part of the issue is simply not fishing them enough, but for me, there always seems to be a better alternative. :
  3. Hmm... We have guys from New England, Kalifornia and throughout the region. Seems like SEC states might give it a try. Maybe it's the Big XII, Big 10 and Atlantic Coast that carries the day. 8-)
  4. In shallow water, GYCB Fat Ika T-rigged weedless and weightless. Rage Tail Baby Craw, naked. MegaStrike MegaBug. 8-)
  5. As long as you keep those pretty legs shaved right up to the poody-pooh, your're fine!
  6. Sportman's Warehouse closed a store her last year. I bought a "lifetime" supply of GYCB products for $1.00 to $3.00. My point is that things can be bought on sale with a little patience. For me, unfortunately, I'm not sure spending a few hundred dollars counts as "saving!"
  7. Swarming Hornet/ 3 1/2" LFT Live Magic Shad

  9. Nice fish, great pic! ;D ;D ;D
  10. Welcome aboard! We have several members from the area, so I suspect you will find an invitation or two. However, I would recommend meeting for lunch before fishing with someone you do not know. -Kent

  16. Well now... Long Mike and I plan to party every night and you're invited! Our cabin is the "unofficial" Party Palace. Dancing girls welcome! :
  17. I don't think we are having an "official" anything, but I might be smokin' butts or grilling burgers Wednesday night. -Kent
  18. Try Bobby's MegaTubes, I think you'll like them! http://www.megastrikefishingproducts.com/shop/Mega-Tube-Soft-Plastic/ 8-)
  19. I received this tool as a gift two years ago on the Roadtrip at Kentucky Lake. I never leave home without them! ;D ;D ;D
  20. Nobody around here that I've seen fishes big swimbaits. So, our fish haven't seen them much or at all! Your might want to give them a try next spring.
  21. Are you guys fishing this coming Saturday? My buddy cancelled on me at the last minute so I didn't fish. If you're going and have an open seat, let me know! -Kent
