  1. My collection has been Terminators and Ledgebusters. Here is what I have added for 2010: (6) 3/4 oz Rattle Head Spinnerbaits http://store.rattleheadbaits.com/rahespba.html (6) 3/4 oz Ledgebuster http://www.***.com/Strikezone_Ledgebuster_Spinnerbaits/descpage-LBSB.html (1) 1/2 oz War Eagle http://www.wareaglelures.com/index.php?act=viewProd&productId=2 I have replaced all the skirts with lumaflex skirts http://store.jobabylures.com/merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=CTGY&Store_Code=J&Category_Code=SKL I intend to make spinnerbaits a "go to" technique for me. My goal is to fish these hard and in every situation . I expect to lose them all by fishing EXACTLY where I can get in maximum trouble! I am fishing 3/8 and 1/2 oz on an Avid AVC70MF/ Metanium/ #12 Hybrid; 3/4 oz on a Legend Elite, EC70MHF/STX/ PP 50/12 (as an experiment). 8-)
  2. Okay guys, let's keep it clean... -Kent
  3. For those that care, it's on! A fish on nearly every cast: live baby dads Artificials: Little George is all you need. White single tail grubs on a jig head is another good choice. 8-)
  4. "Important Announcement" from Glenn I don't want to make any promises, so take this with a grain of salt. But as it stands today, there's a distinct possibility that Kevin VanDam, Gerald Swindle, Mike Iaconelli, and Dave Wolak will be making an appearance. Everyone wants to do it, and their sponsors are all for it. So now it's just a matter of if their schedules will permit it. Again, no promises, but I wanted to let everyone know in case you decide not to go, and then find out later you missed out when you could have gone!
  5. No kidding! How cool is this?
  6. Mine is an Avid AVC70MM/ Chronarch. You need a fast reel for times when you want to burn the lipless crankbait. 8-)
  7. Surprising...I think most guys have had great luck with both of these baits. The Fat Ika has been just as productive as the Senko for me. 8-)
  8. Try the Baby Craw on 1/4 oz MegaStrike Shake2 http://www.ragetail.com/news/10/the-baby-rage-craw-a-finesse-bait/ The Lobster on a 3/8 or 1/2 oz Shake2 http://www.ragetail.com/ragetaillobster.html 8-)
  9. To paraphrase Big O: Location is the key. Then there is lure selection and presentation. After that, the "right color" can make good fishing better. 8-)
  10. Maybe they're coming by for a schoolin'. Ya know, brush up on a couple of techniques and presentations. I think you should demonstrate a Fat Wayne for 'em! I bet they don't know very much about our little secrets. ;D ;D ;D
  11. Call BPS and ask them to order it for you. They just started selling the line. 8-)
  12. Please read through FAQs before posting. This is one of just a few topics that are "Off Limits". From FAQs: "I have a question about the Kicktail, Banjo Minnow, Doug Hannon Snake, Walking Worm lures, or the North American Fishing club Do a search on the name. There's plenty of posts about it, which will answer your question." This thread is closed. -Kent a.k.a. roadwarrior Global Moderator
  13. Spinning gear: Yo-Zuri Hybrid or Hybrid Ultra Soft #6 Baitcasting tackle: Hybrid #12 8-)
  14. This is my take: G. Loomis IMX or GLX for bottom contact and finesse. St. Croix Avid for "moving" baits/lures. Both St. Croix and G. Loomis deliver high quality blanks, reel seats and other components. Both have a reputation for state of the art engineering and top notch craftsmanship. G.Loomis rods are more sensitive, but that is not as important with moving lures. If you want to save money, I think you will be very happy with the Avids. My line-up: G. Loomis GLX BCR854 MBR844C MBR842C MBR784C PR844C PR844S St. Croix Avid AVS66MLF AVC66MF AVC70MF AVC70MM St. Croix Legend Elite ES70MF EC70MHF 8-)
  15. Man, ain't that a fact! Very disappointing, but now that I have recently given two away, I am interested to hear how those guys do with them. 8-)
  16. Welcome aboard! 8-)

  19. The fight that begins when a big smallmouth sees the boat. 20-30 yards of screaming drag and then she jumps. It doesn't get any better than that! 8-)
  20. Although I have never eaten big cats, I have been told that lion meat is delicious. Anyone have any experience with this meat?
  21. Elk is the only meat I have every eaten that tastes better than beef. http://www.elkusa.com/Elk_tenderloin.html 8-)
  22. Some dude named Kevin claimed he won a couple of tournaments fishing the color. 8-)
  23. I don't understand you guys calling the man out. What's wrong with just making up stuff and pulling numbers out of the air if it helps support your position? :-?
  24. Leader line is a different formula. It is generally stiffer and more abrasion resistant.
