what do you do with used hooks
Nothin' to talk about. Hooks are the most important equipment we use and compared to everything else, "expensive" hooks are cheap! 8-)

Forever. You don't need to respool, just add line as needed. 80 yards of good line is plenty, the rest is just backing that will never be used. 8-)

Taking a trip down memory lane through Dad's tackle box
I found a cedar root, that is a wonderful piece of driftwood for display. My dad's tacklebox was full of similar stuff. Although the Lucky 13 is pretty common, the one I have is special to me. It's VERY "used"! 8-)

Your biggest fish.
The biggest largemouth I have caught was on a Norman Fat Boy, but the majority of my best green fish have eaten a 6" Senko. I have decided not to claim a PB until I have a witness, official weight and picture. Now smallmouth is another story. The fish in my avatar were caught with minnows fished on a split shot rig. The fat one is just over 7lbs. The other fish is my PB, just over 8. These fish were caught about an hour and a half apart on the Tennessee River in January, 2005. 8-)

I thread all soft plastic trailers so they stay in place and stand up. With pork, I "just hang it off". However, I am not sure it really makes a difference. What I think is important is the action of the claws. I like stand-up jigs because they keep the claws above rocks and bottom clutter. 8-)

Orange Crushed (For RW)
This sissy can't stay up that late on a school night! The first half was a little slow I thought, but both teams were hanging in there. I guess Big Ben took charge in the second half. Congratulations Pittsburgh!
