I have both 6 pin and 2 pin i seen no reason to have a six pin ..the 2 pin works fine for regular casting.the 6 pin has only been around with stock abus for about 12 yrs.and i still havent figured out why abu did away with the thumb screws for the crank sideplate.now you have to change them out or carry a dime to do adjustments ...even though its almost a set and forget reel.

True ...after a few months 130 150 yrds ..cause if you aint slinging 1 oz on 12 lb line 130 plus yards your not getting the most out of your abu

Mono or copoly...all i use all ineed never had a issue..big game and yo zuri..grew up using stren original with no probs prob would still buy it if i got more than the same in big game

Easy to hod rod last forever. Never had issues with pawls as long as keep them lightly oiled.oil bearings lightly also and you wont have any problems casting.did i mention i have about 180 abus and never had issues with casting even the ones 50+ yrs old..all shapes and sizes new or used all will work. Bearings,update drag, polish spool shaft ends ,ceramic pawl,bearing in cog wheel, and bearing supported worm your ready for 130 150 yrds easy anyday.if it has IAR no need for that bearing but you can get bearing supported crankshaft bearing not IAR but makes cranking a little smoother

No grease and just a drop if that of oil ..clean it well first some AR work best dry depending on the race and cage

Are they more exspensive then a regular mojo .thats what would make it or brake it for me .if they believe a 20 0r 30 $ increase is 'yak' selling point then the manufactures definatly hooked a lotta fisherman/woman

To hit 20 foot you need at least a 60 yrd cast and a fast start up and the main thing is 20 foot of water .

Freshwater its a 6' shimano fightin rod with a daiwa bg 2000 and 6lb yo zuri hybrid salt its a ugly stik striper rod 7' with a penn 450ss loaded with 12 lb yo zuri

That shape between 20 and 40 each 40 bein the top and the person needs it badly

You may want to consider a dawia bg in 1500 size found online between 65 and 80 ..

I spray mine lightly with a mix of vinegar and freshwater and use marine grease on the main and pinion gears only inside .may also want to take each screw out for sideplates and put a small dab of grease on threads

All are interchangable ..i use redhead white body traps 1/2 for everything that swims salt and fresh.ive caught drum with manns 6" jellyworms in purple.ive caught bass with nuclear chicken bass assassins.perch with beetle spins and bluegill also. Basic colors do everything in salt and fresh.despite what the pros say i fish from a yak and can go from the chesapeake bay to freshwater ponds in a mattter of minutes.i keep it very simple....rapalas,traps,spooks,plastic worms and fluke type baits,mepps inlines,and beetle spins all in a med size one sided box.ive never been skunked yet. Its a great idea to change out all hooks though on the hardbaits with SS and cut the mepps hook off and put a ss single hook on it

I do this to all my inlines now and add a quality hook and some kinda plastic it dont hurt the fish catching and less likly to get a thumb piercing

Light line also helps the small one no more then 10lb the bigger one 12 is fine...

IMO they are better then BB with a wire hookup ratio is better because of the swinging hook and a lot more weedless i dont use theem much though

Depends how long the rod is a 7' ultra light may feel perfect with a 3000 size reel But a 3000 reel will feel awkward on a 5' ul and the stripping guide wont match the spool diameter coming off the reel for casting

Indeed so about the retreat law thats why i stated i run and tripped ...what happens after that i cant comment ..all i know is Maryland forgot the only reason we are a state and a country for that matter is becuase farmers and fisherman didnt retreat in 1776 ..thats a whole diff topic that cannot be posted here though.

I spary my lures,line guides and reel seat with a 25/75 salution of vinegar/water saltwater eats up carbon hooks pretty fast and your reel seat area gets corroded easily also

I do believe between mosquitos,ticks,fleas,spiders,snakes,gators,hippos,sharks, etc etc humans get it worse then animals worldwide

Unless the guy was holding you down you cannot shoot ...court looks at many things before you have to shoot .and if you can flee who ever is trying to hurt or kill ya u wont have a chance in court...now body harm fear for your life right at ya right now no way out yup u will win in court So basically if u run and fall and they get on you then you can do the deed ..your right to live will supercede any court saying otherwise

The shank of these are offset so you have to put them through and at striaght shot to the hook point ..or skin hook them and usaully if it has a bullet weight it shouldnt twist if your just hoppin it
